Budget hotel

Budget friendly but not cheap or cheesy. Very close to the main dock amenities. Liked it there..

Great value caring hotel on the Waterfront.

Posted 06-Oct-2016
Pros: Locality, cleanliness, friendly staff, free parking, great value.
Cons: The pod bathrooms could be a little bigger, especially for tall people. Some way of stopping bedroom doors from banging shut
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel for the price. Great to have free parking so close to amenities and attractions, and the conference I was attending at ACC. After a problem with noisy guests in the room next door, we were temporarily moved to another room so we could get some sleep, whilst the duty manager spoke to the people concerned. We couldn't fault the service and friendliness of the staff. The pod shower rooms are clean and well equipped if a bit cosy!

Budget price, lovely views, great staff

We stayed for 5 nights in 2 rooms as a family. There was no air conditioning and despite bringing our own fans the rooms were uncomfortably hot. Lovely staff, great location with both our rooms and the bar overlooking the Mersey. We had great service, nothing was too much trouble and a free car park, which in Liverpool is very rare. There was quite a lot of noise from the hallway between 2 and 3.30am though every night.

3 day stay

Small but pleasant family room & very clean. Maybe the wall mirror could of been a little lower as I like to sit and apply my makeup, do hair etc. Overall would return. Handy for Albert Dock exhibitions.

Good value and an ideal setting beside waterfront

Posted 10-Aug-2016 on Ebookers
Pros: Good value for money. Friendly Reception Staff. Excellent Breakfast which was good Value for money.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Liverpool. An excellent City to visit for a couple of days. It is full of Cultural Interests, Amazing Architecture and a fantastic massive Waterfront.
I was due to attend a meeting at St George's Hall and so needed a Hotel which was good value, clean and with a nice setting by the waterside. This Hotel is ideal because I could walk to St George's Hall in just 30 minutes each day. Breakfast was really good quality and value for money and the Reception Staff were exceptionally helpful. I had to speak to the Manager about a small issue in my bathroom and he arranged to get it fixed during the day. It couldn't be fixed before my departure and he kindly let me have breakfast free of charge on my second morning. That's service... I'll definitely stay again if I'm up in Liverpool. Liverpool is an excellent City to visit for a couple of days. It is full of Cultural Interests, Amazing Architecture and a fantastic massive Waterfront with endless shops and restaurants and boating events. Certainly worth a visit. The Central Library is one of the best and most modern in the country. The Railway Station is ideally situated in the City Centre and has links to every Major City in the UK.

We really enjoyed our stay , the staff are so helpful. Quick check in and service. It's a short walk to all the amenities of Liverpool. Would definatly stay there again. Plus it really suites the pocket price wise.

Simple but tidy hotel in good location

Nice little find. Hotel is basic but very clean and the staff were great. Located on Queens Dock so only a short walk from Albert Dock. Only downside would be that the rooms were small and the bathrooms are the drop in pod solutions found in University accommodation, not idea for someone of my height.

Noisy rooms facing road

Posted 01-Aug-2016
Pros: Convenient location;10 minutes' walk to Albert Dock. Helpful hosting staff.
Originally I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights. But I move out the next day. Just cannot sleep because of noise from road. Bath room is extremely small.
