Cons: チェックインが、15時からとなっていて、12時10分にリバプールについていったん観光してからのチェックインになって、もう一度、港まで歩くことになったので、 12時ぐらいにチェックインできるとモット良かった。
ビートルズの遺跡を見にリバプールに行くことを計画した時、ロンドンからの列車の到着駅に近いホテルとして、このホテルを選びました。 ビートルズ関連の博物館などが集まる港とは、駅を中心にして、反対の山側にはなるのでしたが、住宅地にあって、落ち着いて、静かで、よいホテルでした。

Visited for a wedding. Fab chance to do all the Beatles experiences. A city we have always wanted to visit.

Cramped hotel. No food

Cons: It's a hotel in an old building. Not sure how it could be improved except they need to update their room information that there is no food.
Hotel is conveniently located near the university. However it is not handicapped friendly. The hallways are cramped and have frequent doors which in some cases compromise stairs. Luggage is a nightmare to negotiate. Also they have no restaurant so you have to walk if you want to eat. Services are limited in the area on Sundays. Street noise was loud and you can basically hear through the walls. There is no way to cool the room on a hot day except the window to the street. If you close the heavy curtain for privacy, the room gets stuffy fast.

Overall a enjoyable stay but wished the hotel interior was not as dark as it felt gloomy and I advise people staying not to have a room upstairs as it's quite a climb.

No lift

The lack of a lift should be explained when booking for those up the top of the hotel. Key cards should be reliable so guests do not have to clamber up and down stairs when they fail. My room did not have a phone although included in the booking.Receptionist failed to notice this when I booked an alarm call.
