I think we must have been given the worst room in the building to be honest. Heating didn't work, no dressing table, battered paintwork and furniture. For the money we paid at £130 per night i expected more and that price didn't include breakfast (our choice not to). There were cheaper hotels that were far better. Our room bore no resemblance to those on the website. On the plus side, check in was efficient and reception and door staff were very friendly. It was our first visit to Liverpool and we enjoyed our 3 days out and about. Based on the room only i wouldn't stay again and i couldn't recommend it.

The reception staff greeted my friend and I with lovely warm smiles and checked us in promptly, informing us that their happy hour was happening until 7pm, 2 cocktails for £10 which helped us get ready for our night out that bit better! Walking distance to everything we went for, clean cosy rooms, lovely toiletries in the bathrooms, off site parking just a 2 minute walk away. We will be back! Happy customers!

I booked a night in the hotel for a nice time in Liverpool but during our stay we were disturbed continually throughout the night (2am 4am 8am) with loud bangs and smashes as directly under our window they had decided to place bins and have them emptied on a Saturday morning thoughout the early morning! I did inform the hotel staff and have emailed twice to have a response from the manager but as of yet no compensation for a disturbed sleep with the hotel! It was a shame because the hotel staff were friendly but as I haven’t had a response from the management as to how they could compensate me for the terrible nights sleep I will not be using the hotel again. I am still awaiting a response now after nearly 8 weeks!

The hotel was in a great location. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were a little tired but fine for the money paid. However as there is no double glazing and we were on the first floor we only got around 3 hours sleep on our first night due to outside noise. We asked whether another room was available and were moved to a third floor room for our second night and had no further problems.

The hotel is lovely and staff very helpful and friendly. Food excellent too. However this is right in the centre with no double glazing with an alley with a night club next to it! On the other side is a busy road with lots of taxis all night. It’s fine if you are going for 1 night to party it’s ideal but not for relaxing getaway
