Only 4 stars for the lift still being out several days after notification (before my arrival) of its not working.
I may be harsh considering it was a bank holiday weekend.
Staff made bringing heavy bag upstairs possible by carrying it thank you.
Some hall carpets might be tended to.

Our room was clean and spacious, comfy beds and decent shower, staff were helpful and friendly, we didn't have breakfast, the bar didn't seem to be used much, Hotel is very close for town, pubs, cafes and restaurants
