"This is a lovely hotel about 15 minutes away from downtown Damariscotta. It was easy to find, right off Route 1. Despite being so close to such a busy road, traffic noise was not a problem. The rooms were big, the king size bed was comfortable, the outdoor pool was clean and well-maintained. While we were only there for a night, I would absolutely stay here again."

"The host allowed for an early check-in, which was incredibly helpful. The location and size of the home to have spaciousness for our extended family gathering were perfect. Most of the beds seemed to be fine, according to my family, but mine was not comfortable (the one hidden in the corner between a bedroom and a bathroom). The showers were a bit awkward. One was very small and the other was part of a claw-foot tub. It was charming, but challenging to get in and out of. Especially for an elderly person. Overall, a great location and lovely size and lots of charm and beautiful piano and lots of books to read and games to play! A great family home."

"We had an amazing time celebrating our 6 year anniversary. Cottage and view was gorgeous. The private, elevated back deck off livingroom had an outstanding view. So quiet, almost no boats or houses to see on the water. Eagles nest, birds, ducks and horseshoe crabs kept us entertained. The main suite had a ridiculous view of sun rise!! Thank you David! Great to meet you. TIL next time!! We WILL be back!"

The place was cozy and quiet, which was perfect after our day trips up and down the mid coast of Maine. This was a perfect central location to all the things we had planned on our itinerary."
