So I needed to have a hotel that had a restaurant because of Christmas Eve and Christmas day and nothing else being open. I wouldn’t do that again I would get an apartment with a kitchenette.
The restaurant meal was set and expensive. The remainder of the meals offered on other days by the restaurant were not particularly well done, and there wasn’t always a choice. The bar had minimal amount of choice, but the food was better.
When I arrived, the heating system wouldn’t work and someone had left the window open so it was quite cold. They sent a service guy up to fix it and it wasn’t fixed properly. I was there for nine days and the heating system ran very loudly nonstop. It wasn’t being temperature controlled properly at all as well. The mini fridge wasn’t turned on properly, I turned it all the way up to cold and it’s still spoiled my yogurt. The walls are thin. You could hear your neighbours coughing the doors are very heavy so they slam.
Generally everything was clean, although I did find some kind of a bug in the bathroom, on the 14th floor
The location close to a metro but that’s all There is a grocery store but without a mini fridge it’s useless , It’s 20 minutes to either downtown or to the bus station on the other side of town. It is convenient if you’re going to the airport or the main train station to do out of city trips.
The staff were super friendly, and they all spoke English, so it was convenient.
Feels isolated
