The apartments are excellent, but the sound insulation is just terrible. You can listen to your neighbors talking and join the conversation if you want. It is as if they are inside your apartment. In our case, we still had the bad luck that the occupants of the apartment above ours, had two small children, who jumped and ran all the time from day one, it was as if we had a hammer hitting our heads all the time.The location is good, despite being on a very steep street, which can be difficult for children or people with some mobility problem. If you want to stay in these apartments, make sure to stay in the apartments on the top floor.

It is centrally located in the middle of alfama. Difficult parking if you have a car so don’t. Tv reception bad if you want to watch of course there’s too much to do to mess with tv. WiFi was fast enough and laundry was useful.

no reception in the hotel. You have to do the check-in on a screen yourself, which gives you a passcode to enter the hotel and room. My passcode failed 5 times, and I have to make a lot of phone calls to fix it. Everything else is excellent: amenities, comfortable, and clean.

I like the fact that everything went smoothly without any hiccups as far as getting there and accessing the apartment but I was a little disappointed in not being able to use the stove especially to make some breakfast in the morning

The location very good, is nearby the train station and taxi stand. The room is clean and big. There are washing machines at the ground floor. All are good with this reasonable price.

They do not change sheets or towels eventhough we requested. I was told they will come to take trash and change sheets every 3 days but they only changed towels and took the main trash out but they didnt take trash in the bathroom nor they changed sheets. Room were not swept or moped.

Great family vacation
Great location, metro and train station with market shop 200m away, also rental car office on the same location. Even the sofa bed was confortable for two persons. I would definitely recommend for everyone.

Clean place, good stay, great breakfast!
It's a clean place, and good area in that it's quiet but not too far away from everything. 10 mins Taxi ride @ around €5 roughly one way into town. Breakfast, which is in a box delivered to your door in the morning, was great!

Overall a decent stay for the price
While the apartment itself was decently set out (adequate size), it was missing a few of the basics such as pot lids, no kettle, no oven rack (despite having an oven) and biggest downside was the lack of soundproofing, could hear everything going on upstairs.

Everything is automated in this place. You check-in on a computer and the doors open with your personal PIN. Overall I was satisfied and I would book again with them.

Cool, safe, futuristic apartment
Our stay was so awesome, we were joking that it was something straight out of Black Mirror! Lol in a good way! Very futuristic and minimalistic. It was a cool and unique check in process and it was nice to know someone was always just a phone call away. The room was spacious and had everything we could need for an epic and comfortable stay. The only thing I will say is that one of the apartments on our floor was soooo loud, they were screaming, cheering, singing all night long that I couldn't barely sleep at all, I think that because there are no physical workers around they felt they could take advantage and not get in trouble in any way for it. Overall it was such a cool place and we had an awesome time!

Beautiful on the outside, lackluster on the Inside
The location (near Alfama district of Lisbon) and view from the apartment were both excellent. The facilities and service were not. The shower head did not fit in its holder, the shower drain was clogged, the WiFi was barely functional and the Skype service for speaking to hotel stuff was completely dysfunctional. The self-service check-in process using the digital kiosk was efficient and functional. This place can be summarized as a beautiful on the outside but unfortunately lackluster on the inside.

Location, housekeeping were great. Beds were hard and way too firm. Cleaning products used in lobby and halls are not pleasant smelling. Lobby sometimes has sewer smell.

The apartment was lovely and clean, very close to the station and very very easy to get around. It was right by the sea port and had a great view out the window. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again if I visit Lisbon again. The apartment was cleaned daily and I wasn’t disturbed by anyone at any point. Very relaxing

Arrived at the apartments slightly early and the self check in was not working. Needed to phone to get codes to enter. The apartment overall looked like the pictures however the kettle was not working and the a couple of cupboards were off the hinges. It was close to the old town so plenty of places to eat and see. The apartments are situated half way up a very steep hill which could be an effort to walk up and down with suitcases or if old or disabled. Overall, the apartment is what it says on the box, nothing more or less.

Clean spacious modern apartment
Getting there from the airport was no bother at all. A metro ticket allowed you to travel for an hour and you can do the journey in that time. (See later about Zipper card) you take the red line from the airport to its end at St Sebastian then the blue line to Santa Apalonia. A lovely apartment about 10 mins walk from the Santa Apolona train and metro station. The check in is all done in a screen and is not too difficult. It scans your passports although not particularly accurately and there is no way of changing anything it scans incorrectly. It got our DoB wrong but the passport number right so we went with that. You are then given a code for both your room and the front door. The apartment we had was open plan with a bathroom, kitchen , living dining room and bedroom. There were sliding doors which could separate theses areas. It was well lit and airy. The air con was ace. Very controllable and such a relief to walk in to the apartment when outside temps were in the 30s. There are washing machines downstairs near reception. There is a lift but you need to go up a short flight of stairs to reach it. The house is on a cobbled street on a hill so probably not recommended for the less able. There is lots of transport nearby. You can buy a zipper card which you load with money. Each journey you use it on is €1.45 for an hour. That will get you as far out as Belem We like to walk and found this a good location for exploring the city.

Problematic facility with bad amenities and staff
The property was not what we had purchased with reference to our booking photo, but we were okay overlooking it. The larger issues included: - no building access upon arrival - no working lifts - broken and missing kitchen utensils - non functional kitchen - inaccessible reception, and - no phone in the room or level. Staff were not responsible and would commit to actions to the above but not act on those, having to remind the request multiple times and still get nothing done. Carrying luggage up and down four levels, and every time we went out or to call reception was not acceptable. Lifts were not fixed during our stay, and no help was offered given our physical constraints. Taxi service booked by hotel was horrible where the driver was almost racial, not wanting to serve anymore any less white than him. The replacement was great. The shuttle arranged charged us more than what is available outside of Hello Lisbon. No compensation or refund was offered, even after asking given the shortcomings of the facility. A lesser valued and smaller apartment at a different location was offered and no offset refund was available. A service guy did come and fixed the stove. He came puffing, imagine a person with back problem and a preganant lady doing this. We ended up staying given there was no refund. We got a free ride to the airport when leaving. Customer service - horrible Premises - above average, if everything was working order Access - great

No service means NO SERVICE! Especially when you have a major leak from the second floor, pouring water into the laundry and inside the electrical panel. The result was NO WI-FI and NO CABLE during my whole stay, plus sleeping worrying if building catching fire in the night.

Lisbon is a lovely place people friendly but- Plan delayed Booked pick up from airport which didn’t turn up and when I tried to contact them no answer. Twice. Then driver three hours later ranted at me by text.... spoilt the break, sadly.

Check in kiosk did not work. Their intercom or skype calling didnt work as well so i had to use my mobile international minutes to contact them to check in which adds to my cost. I reluctantly had to guve them my credit card number for city tax in a public area, otherwise i could not check in. I will never stay there again.

Overall good stay
Great stay and lovely area near the Alfama district. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Our apartment was very comfortable and well kept. The only complaint I have is the dryer did not work so we ended up with a bunch of wet clothes the day we had to leave. Unfortunate.
