Conveniently located
Upon arrival we rang for access, but the bell had not sounded inside and we had to wait until other guests helped us to enter the building. From then on everything was perfect. We found free parking for our car and it was a v ery convenient 25 minute walk into central Cascais.

Friendly and comfortable
Fantastic and helpful owner. All very friendly and laid back. Great breakfast. Location is thankfully away from the very busy center, but takes about 15-20 minutes to walk. Parking (free and safe) is on a side street, but always plenty of spaces.

Nice modern guesthouse with friendly staff. Good breakfast, and being able to park a motorbike securely at the property was a bonus.

Decent bed and breakfast
Comfortable bed and breakfast in a residential area of Cascais. Lovely garden for breakfast. The owner is a bit stiff and not friendly at all. One major dissapointment is that it is stated that if you want to change towels, leave them in the shower. We left them in the shower and when we got back, instead of getting fresh new towels, they had taken our old towels and hung them out to dry on the clothesline in our balcony! So they appear to be very cheap despite charging quite a high room price.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your evaluation and your comments. Regarding your disapoitment with the towels. We always inform the guests that we change towels and bed sheets every 3 days and to dry the towels we use the clothline at the balcony. If the guests need fresh towels we ask them to leave in the shower floor and we provide fresh ones. If there is any towel in the floor (Bathroom or room) we replace the towels. If the guests leave the towels hung on the hook or shower glass we assume that it is not to be replaced. If this was the case, probably it was our misunderstading. please accept our apologies Kind regards

Dolce Home an excellent value home away from home.
Very homely, our host was extremely helpful. Warm friendly environment for families, couples or solo travellers. Compact rooms with all basic necessities provided. Communal lounge area tastefully decorated and kitchen were great opportunities to meet other travellers. Local area residential, short walk to supermarket and laundry. Downhill walk to beach, easy access to transport to Lisbon and Sintra. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend for overnight or longer stays. Duarte our host was very accomodating and happy to impart local knowledge. We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute of it.

Excellent B&B!
We were very pleased with our lovely room at the Dolce Cascais Guest House. The room was clean and modern, with a lovely balcony. Beds were comfortable, nice towels and the shower worked well. There's also a kitchen and sitting are on the bottom floor for guest use, which is nicely outfitted and has a fridge for guest use. Breakfast is a selection of self serve cereals, yogurt, breads, tomatoes and a couple of fruit options. The house is a bit of a walk up from the train and bus station so we would recommend taking a taxi. There's a small commercial area perhaps a 10 minute walk further up the hill with a few restaurants (we tried the burger place, which was excellent). Our only negative was some noise from the room next to us but that may have been an unusual circumstance as it was a family with a baby. Staff at the guest house were all very nice. We would definitely recommend this place!

Cascais comfortable
We had a wonderful stay and as we were the only guests,were treated like kings. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast excellent. One small issue, the parking is not on site but on the road about 150 yards away. Made unloading cases etc a bit hazardous as the home is located on a very busy road. That said, we would definitely stay here again.

Arrived after a bit of a mess finding it but probably due more to the faulty GPs which Europcar provided us with.Everyone in our group of 7 raved about the owners as well as the establishment.far better than staying in a hotel; you get to meet and visit with other travellers from around the world. The accommodation was good standard. Eduardo the owner was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble . The local information on restaurants was great . We had access to the kitchen at all times. We even had a basket and shelf in the fridge for our use. We could sit out in the lovely garden,

Perfect guesthouse experience
Dolce Cascais was the perfect Cascais experience! The room was clean, the guesthouse was more than accommodating, and it is just a short walk away from the center, as well as from the free bike-share along the shore. We stayed an extra night on a whim because we didn't feel like leaving!

Margarida and Duarte were very helpful; From arranging our flight transfers, to giving local information. There were 6 of us on our trip and Margarida and Duarte both gave excellent advice. Hotel was clean and quiet. Lovely garden to relax in. Excellent location for Cascais, Estoril and Lisbon.

Not Sure Why Rated So High By Others
Room smelled from mold and human urine. Location was posted as 1.1 miles from town, it is over 3 miles. Owner was polite but when I said we could not stay there, he was not happy and not friendly. Rooms facing the very busy road are very noisy. Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere.

good basic hotel
centrally located in Cascais, completely renovated house, breakfast had a limited selection, but was reasonable. Ask for a room on the back of the house as it would be a bit noisy at the front as it is on a somewhat major street. Parking is free on the next street over, but quite convenient. Quite a reasonable place to explore the area, including Sintra.

A modern B and B!
Great, friendly service. Great breakfast. Can use kitchen to cook own meals. The only possible downside is that it would be about at least a 30 min. walk to the town centre of Cascais, so we drove in and parked where there is free parking along the waterfront just before getting into the town centre. From the parking, it's less than a 10 minute walk. I would highly recommend this property!

Highly recommended! Very enjoyable!
The guest house is located in a very quiet area. Ideal for those who would like to be quite far from crowds of tourists. Very cosy rooms and common areas, with lots of character and charm. Nice garden area for breakfast and enjoying the sun tan. Very nice hosts. The restaurant, recommended by them, was absolutely wonderful! Very enjoyable stay!

Маленький гостевой дом, уютный. В номере есть все необходимое. На соседней улице есть места для парковки - это на случай, если вы сами там машину берете в аренду, ну или экскурсионный транспорт вас будет забирать.

Tres bonne adresse
Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel aux chambres joliment décorées et calme malgré la proximité de la route. Le jardin où l on prend le petit déjeuner est très agréable et les hôtes Duarte et Margarida sont très attentionnés. Un seul inconvénient : le centre ville et la plage sont à 20 mns à pied.

A pousada é muito boa único inconveniente foi que depois das 18:00h não fica ninguém na portaria. o hóspede tem que ligar para um número de celular para ser atendido. Nosso problema foi solucionado pelo pessoa do posto de gasolina próximo que efetuou a ligação para o dono da pousada que se apresentou rapidamente. Por ser uma viagem internacional nós não tínhamos celular disponível.
