The apartment is very centrally located and yet a block off of the noisiest streets. There is an elevator to help with the six flights of stairs. The parking space was appreciated. Unfortunately it was a negative Check -in experience, flying in at 6 AM and having to wait until three to get in- which is normal, but we dragged suitcases up six flights of stairs, because the elevator was very small and rickety, and the code did not work to get into the apartment. The stairwell was not air-conditioned, and it was extremely dirty, and we were stuck there for an hour and exhausted. We did not hear back from anybody after quite a few messages for over an hour, and until I called Vrbo directly. The unit itself is very spacious and was very clean, but, as other reviewers have said, there were zero amenities in it, not even extra trash bags or toilet paper. ##### Kristen s. Once we got in the master bed didn't have sheets on it and the kitchen counters hadn't been fully cleaned. I reach out to the host about the bedding issue and they immediately sent someone over to make the bed and double check everything. The location was more then we had ever expected. We had a view of the river from our sixth floor apartment which was the most amazing thing to wake up open the windows and let the fresh air in. It was so quite at night and easy to sleep being on the top floor. We didn't have any issues with the elevator at all during our stay which i know others had experienced and there wasn't any construction happening to the building. Other then the little hiccup at the beginning we really enjoyed our time and would recommend this location especially for families. It was nice for our teenager to have his own bathroom and bedroom. My only recommendation would be to have umbrellas in the apartment for guests in case it rains. ##### Jamie H. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. When we got to the building and we couldn't get in with the door code, I texted in whatapp and they responded right away, remotely opened the door for us and gave me the new code. The apartment itself was spacious compared to others. Also, you can't beat ita location which is walking distance to everything. You can drive and park in front of apartment to drop off your baggage because street is big enough. Only two things that bother me were the construction on the first day we arrived (very dusty and made the apartment dusty) and the first day we arrived it was the day they inspected the elevator! So, we had to wait for a while to bring our baggage up because we had 5 big luggage and couldn't carry up 6 floors with two young kids. I was informed earlier when I booked that there would be the construction and I was prepared for it. However, it was not noisy but the dust should be cleaned up daily in the public area. Otherwise, once this renovation is done, this apartment will be perfect! ##### Sazzie Z. First off the good:, - Clean space right in the heart of Baixa with limited noise in the unit which can be an issue in this area - Three a/c units to keep the condo cool throughout the day - Modern finishes and appliances are always appreciated - Well priced Now the bad: - We waited outside of the unit for 1+ hours with our luggage since the code wasnt working. Host eventually changed us in, but would have appreciated quicker action. - The second bathroom isnt actually a bathroom and shouldnt be listed as such. It has a sink and a stool. - Construction occuring on building which we should have been notified about beforehand. Overall, this has the potential to be a great listing and if you can address these issues beforehand with the host, i'd reco renting. ##### Noah M.
