    extremely disappointed, smelly, dirty

As soon as we opened the door of the caravan we immediately turned around and got our refund. It smelled very strongly the plastic tables and chairs were dirty stored inside. Not recommended

    Nice Campsite Just Outside Cascais

Quite a nice campsite about a five minute drive from Cascais centre with lovely staff, decent facilities and (if you stay in one of their caravans) simple a clean accommodation. Tasty food in the little bar/restaurant where a pint of the local beer - Super Bock - costs 1.80euro. There's also a little shop within the building which has the basics, most anything a camper should require (some really nice breads!). Staff were all lovely and very accommodating. A bus can take you from the camp gates to Cascais centre for 3.30euro or a taxi for around 6/7euro depending on the driver/route (be careful some will try the long way around the coast which can cost a bit extra), and once in Cascais it's a scenic bus ride to Sintra or a train ride to Lisbon with plenty to see along the way.

Pros: Very chilled environment, friendly vibe, a quiet place to set up base camp before exploration.

    Cons: A better pool table?

Location: Beaches in Cascais, paddle boarding, boating, hiking in Sintra within national park, Lisbon about 45mins on train, tourist spots along the way.
