Staying in this apartment is having a complete local and traditional experience. Here, you are within walking distance from all the main places to visit in Lisbon such as Rossio, Chiado, Bairro Alto, the City Castle and its picturesque neighborhood called Alfama. The 100 square meters apartment features 4 bedrooms; it’s on the 4th floor of a building with a small elevator. There is a living and dining room, 2 complete bathrooms, an equipped kitchen, and plenty of sunlight. We chose it because of its central location (it was perfect in this sense) and that it could accommodate our party of 7\. The apartment can reportedly take 13 people - I think this would be a very snug but there are beds for this number. In our arrival day, we were met by Tomas who did a fantastic job. Smooth check-in. Apartment had everything we could possibly need. There were only 6 of us, so we had plenty of space. It is hard to see how the apartment could be for 13\. We did not like the middle bedroom that had no outside window. Check-in with Tomás was very welcoming and smooth. However, amenities are quite basic (one small towel per person, no shampoo/bodywash, no paper towels and only one kitchen towel). The biggest challenge was sleeping - it’s quite hot in the summer and the apartment doesn’t have AC. Fans are provided, but you have to keep windows open to keep it cool enough - which comes with all the noise of the busy tourist district (and sometimes very noisy party neighbors). Overall, good place to stay, but definitely not a 10/10\. ##### Yara Z.
