Brown's is conveniently located, the rooms are comfortable, the staff speaks English and the desk staff are very helpful

Great hotel and location, best room I’ve ever stayed stayed in, Steak sandwich for lunch is a must, absolutely incredible flavour ( I know it’s just a sandwich but it was great ). Excellent cocktails in the evening and breakfast selection sets you up for a day of exploring. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The location of this hotel is perfect! We were literally in the middle of everything, so we could walk to all the important sites. The staff was always very kind and friendly and helped us with any doubt we had. The vibes and decor of the hotel were also a point that we liked because it gave it so much personality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel that is centric, good-priced and with an included breakfast. PS: the rooms didn´t have carpet, so that was another plus for me since I´m very allergic!

The location was excellent right in the centre of the old town and within walking distance of most things, be careful when booking a room that you don’t get put in a room at the back of the building on the lower floors as along with no view the air conditioning was loud and would disturb light sleepers, but having said that the bar area was a really nice place to have an after dinner drink and the staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay

My wife and I spent 7 days staying in a Superior room at Browns Central hotel in Lisbon in the last week of January 2024. We wanted to do a comprehensive city break where we had a comfortable, newish boutique hotel as a base in the centre of the city, next to a metro station, that would allow us to get easily from the airport to the hotel by the metro with our two medium size wheeled cases. Overall we felt the hotel was comfortable, modern, clean with an excellent style and atmosphere and excellent staff. There were some minor issues with our room (small bathroom with leaking shower, room overlooked by surrounding buildings with no net curtains for privacy) which did not detract from its comfort and charm, and as a base for a week’s busy city stay it was superb - particularly in terms of location and connectivity. We highly recommend it if you are doing this type of trip to Lisbon.

Front staff were great! Friendly and speak English well. Able to store luggage until room was ready. Room was small but clean, comfortable bed, nice towels, little closet, mini frig, tea kettle and coffee maker. Walking distance to many things. Free cocktail on check in day! Fun lobby! Only down side was “heat” was on for the hotel and we were hot at night but opening windows and ceiling fan helped. However, opening windows meant lots of street noise…not sure it was worth paying for a view room, rooms without a view I assume would be quieter. Great stay, would stay there again!

The room was compact but perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower is a brilliant rain shower. It's ideal for a short stay. I didn't use the bar as it closed very early at 11pm, so when I came from dinner i couldn't have a night cap.

Almost perfect but Book it anyway
The hotel is almost perfect. The room is perfect. If you can upgrade to a suite or junior suite, do it. The hotel bed is so comfortable. Showers are amazing! Design is modern and amenities are great. The staff is great and so friendly. There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself. Location is perfect. No hills to get to it. The reason it’s almost perfect is the noise at night. The hotel is no control of it. The nights get busy from music, trash trucks, cars, etc. If you are a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs. Otherwise the hotel is perfect!

What a find! We had a wonderful stay here. Location was excellent, close to a lot of the action as well as a short walk from a major train station (yet we didn’t have any issues with external noise even though our window faced the street). The room was stylish with a boutique feel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed happy hour in the bar with some lovely cocktails. Would definitely stay here again!
