This beautiful character filled building was built in 1880 and is situated in the centre of the quaint township of Linton in Western Victoria. Linton is a picturesque old goldfields town located approximately 25 minutes west of Ballarat and 2 hour drive from Melbourne. The Post Office is in a great location with easy access to the Skipton Rail Trail and Goldfields Track and a short drive to neighbouring country towns of western Victoria. The Post Office has been converted from its original purpose into a comfortable three bedroom and two living area home that can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and the third bedroom has a single bed plus a bunk bed (the bottom bunk is a double and top bunk is a single). All beds have electric blankets, pillows and linen provided. A range of activities are supplied to be enjoyed in the spacious living area during your country getaway: books, movies, board games or choose to just relaxing by the open fire. The kitchen and dining room area have all the comforts of home. Fully stocked pantry with ample breakfast items and ingredients to make a meal on your first night is provided and can be enjoyed by the slow combustion heater.
