This hotel is just paradise, if you enjoy peace and quiet and being pampered. The staff are kind and helpful, food delicious and varied. Our room was huge and comfortable with a breathtaking view of the beach from our large balcony. The pools are great and the hotel is right on the beach, where you can walk/swim out (footwear required) and snorkel! There are wooden slats on the stony/sandy beach for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
The location is peaceful, just 2 miles past Lindos. So each evening we walked the 2 miles to the town for varied evening meals, then back again, enjoying the scenery, goats and donkeys!
Just 2 little tips for the hotel - we would have liked a hot shower before we left to catch our late flight home, rather than a cold one in the pool area. I would also have liked there to be an iron available for my personal use.
Otherwise, absoutely perfect.

We have stayed at this hotel many times & do enjoy coming back. We haven learnt over the years which rooms to ask for (602-617). The room istelf wasn't quite up to scratch this year as we experienced a problem with ants but they do provide fresh fruit, water & wine on arrival (& mid way through the holiday too) The staff can be a little hit & miss, although it's getting towards the end of season & so they've have a long 6 months. The cleaners were very chirpy would have just prefered it not to be so early each morning. We enjoy the breakfast buffet & the many sunbed options. The bar man at the main pool was always a delight but we had a run in with the chap at the other smaller pool.
We had a lovely 5 day break in Lindos staying at the Daniel Apartments. We arrived at 12.30 and found that there was still someone on reception and they had put tea coffee and sugar in the room with a few snacks. There was also a selection of drinks and water in the fridge. Apartments had t.v and aircon with all kitchen facilities that you would need for a self catering stay. The maid came in every day and the rooms were kept spotlessly clean. Would certainly recommend the Daniel Apartments.
Pre-warned that arriving late evening in traffic-free Lindos we may struggle to find the hotel, we contacted them in advance and the owner kindly arranged for someone to meet us at the taxi drop-off to escort us to the hotel. Nice touch.
The room opened out on to a lovely patio area, shared with a couple of other rooms and was agreat place to sit outdoors with an awesome view of the acropolis.
The room however, whilst very clean, was quite basic and some of the room amenities listed on the Expedia site were not apparent e.g. tea/coffe maker (unless this was the kettle), sofa bed, dvd player. Also the wi-fi only worked in the patio, not in the room. The shower was a strange oblong shape that involved regular battles with the shower curtain!
However the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was kept lovely and clean.

Could not have better accommodation for the price. Very clean, very comfortable, brand new, excellent view from the terrace! No reception office on the premises but staff arrived very soon after I called them. Very kind and helpful young lady!

Had the pleasure of staying in a private pool room this time which was stunning with a domed starlit ceiling and private sun deck. Breakfast and evening meal was buffet style and catered for all tastes both English and Greek with plenty of choices. Only downside to hotel is the distance from both Lindos and Pefkos, anyone with walking difficulties and those that can't be bothered has to take a taxi (approx 7 euros), it is very steep in both directions and takes a good 20 minutes hard uphill trek. I would recommend to anyone staying that they book either a superior room in the new block or a deluxe room with private pool, as the older ones round the pool are small and do not look very comfortable, although I would say that the main hotel pool is very big and very clean.
What a fabulous, fabulous holiday.........
From the point of arrival to the last second of departing, the holiday was everything and more, that my partner and I had hoped for!!
It all works because of the level of service and friendliness provided by the staff. This is from the top down, where the manager has brought together a group of individuals, who without effort, just know how to do it right. Nothing was too much, and if you ever need to see the process of "going the extra mile" working, then book in at this Hotel........
We obviously had major concerns understanding the financial problems in Greece generally, but on arrival that disappeared quickly and things (within reason) worked well. The food, the cleanliness and the rooms at the Hotel were all wonderful.
Dont miss the Greek night.......apart from the entertainment, I could have spent the whole night just eating the fabulous array of food.....
My second time back to Rhodes Island and had intended to do a little bit of touring and site-seeing.

Rhodes' prettiest village, Lindos is a compact hillside settlement of whitewashed houses, capped by a 14th-century hilltop fortress containing an ancient Greek temple. Below the village lies a lovely curving bay with a well-equipped sand beach. Lindos attracts countless day-trippers by day, but peace returns at sunset, with tavernas and cocktail bars offering upmarket wining and dining on romantic rooftop terraces overlooking the sea.
