"Libby and the staff were beyond kind, caring, and giving. I was stuck on the island due to the hurricane and needed a place for my son and me to stay. With hundreds of others in the same situation, I randomly chose this hotel—and I feel so blessed that I did. From the moment we arrived, I felt truly cared for and understood, especially during such an anxious and uncertain time. What could have been a terrible experience was turned into a calm and reassuring one, thanks to their compassion. I only wish I had stayed here for my entire trip. I can never thank them enough."
"Got stuck in STT a couple of nights when flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Erin. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. The restaurant and bar were delicious, and we even got a chance to walk the beach and play in the pool after the storm passed. Conveniently located near the airport was a plus for those in our party flying standby. "
"Our flight got cancelled at Airport and Windward Passage was there to save the day.
Rooms were simple, yet clean. Staff was very caring and although the neighborhood was decent, the property was helpful. "
"I really liked this place and I am pretty picky. The island has lots of elevation differences. So as usual, you will climb some steps to get to rooms. Nothing unusual but if it is a problem then this place (and most others) could be a challenge. To me it’s worth it. Cool island vibe and eco conscious. Proprietor is a fountain of knowledge and advice. Treats you fairly. Definitely will stay again!!! "
"The property was clean comfortable. It reminded me of a friendly hometown feel. I loved its location because we had easy access to Virgin island breakfasts of pates and Johnny cake and cheese as well as bush tea and coffee. Delicious!!! I would recommend this location to everyone!!

"The place is well kept and just as advertised. We have stayed in many short-term rentals over the years and I must say that the hosts here truly made us feel like family in a way that no one else ever has. They made our stay so much more special and we would definitely stay here again. The views were amazing from there, the AC worked great, and everything else was perfect for our 5 day escape. They even gave us great suggestions from a local perspective so that we could enjoy the island even better. We are going to miss this place and the hosts now that we are gone."
