I loved the staff here, they welcomed us so well. My pooch made the wall of fame. Great that we can have our dogs in rooms. Made visiting my student son, a lot easier. Lovely breakfast, great shower. Only fault, is not with staff, but other dog owners. They leave there dogs poo all over grass. Hotel so have cameras up and a policy and fine. Not fair on others staying there without dogs. Both overall a lovely weekend, comfortable beds. Will be back.

Residents running amock in corridors, trying our room door handle and banging on door several times. Felt unsafe. Loud music played in several rooms. Feared for car in car park. I dont scare easily but definitely felt unsafe

Passing through Lincoln for work, booked through Expedia and with points I had saved cost me £40 with the dog. Any more than that and I've would have stayed somewhere else and been trying to get my money back. It's the kind of place steel toe boot workmen stay, in fact, those were the only people I saw and the carpark was full of vans. It definitely has its value but only as that. Inside was not the cleanest, hallway carpets everywhere appeared to be covered in plaster dust and my room smelt. If I were passing through again and needed a cheap room (sub £40) I'd probably stay here again. I only saw staff when checking in but they were both friendly and pleasant. I didn't eat at the restaurant/pub across the way, there is a Costa and KFC across the roundabout.

parkrun superstay!
More than just convenient, the staff at the Ibis Lincoln were friendly, kind and really helpful. Would definitely recommend to others. A midday check out was perfect for Yarborough parkrun, breakfast, shower and then check out.

We stayed 1 night with our baby and 2 dogs, overall the hotel was clean and very tidy, staff were very polite and friendly, our room was just what you'd expect the bed was very comfy but we could of done with having a couple more towels. The only bad thing is that there was just a tiny little corner in the bar where dogs are allowed which just fit me, my partner and 2 dogs so maybe they could look into making a bigger space for pets. I would definitely recommend this hotel we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Business Stay
The room was comfortable and relaxing at the end of a long day's work, with decent service. Breakfast was nice and early, and was varied each morning - making for a good start to the day. The hotel is easily accessible from most directions / areas of central Lincoln, making it a relatively short commute from the various sites I work on in the area. Overall a great experience and a service I would highly recommend.

I wouldn't stay at this budget hotel.
When we arrived the window was broken and it was cold due to the snow. The door wouldn't lock or shut. The button for the toilet was hanging off and so was the small heater. I went downstairs to move rooms and they knew all about these issues. They couldn't give me a new key so gave me a staff one which i thought was strange but anyone they did move us rooms. The next room had white powder all over the floor and cobwebs on the walls. I paid £80 for the one night and it was totally unacceptable.

Lincoln Ibis.
One night en route for home. Room nice but a few issues. No bulb in table lamp. No hook in bathroom for dressing gown. Bedside cabinets loose, not fixed to headboard. Only one spare pillow and no TV remote- had to go downstairs to reception to ask for these. Breakfast price expensive so went to adjoining hotel where Breakfast was half the cost.

The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The was a sound of running water for about 10 seconds every 15 minutes or so throughout the night

Worst hotel stay I have had in years. Very rude staff, dirty room which needed complete renovation and intermittent banging noise (plumbing issues perhaps?) which went all through the night. Awful experience, very disappointed as I have stayed in Ibis hotels before and never had a problem. I didn’t expect a luxury experience but basic courtesy and cleanliness shouldn’t be too much to ask.

I personally wouldn’t stay here again…
Staff present and nice. Check inn was a breeze. All went down hill from there. Dead spider on my pillow, women’s razor on the soap dispenser in the shower, shower constantly dripping and the shower didn’t change temperature from being red hot. Told staff and they were pleasant and reported it to maintenance. Breakfast was decent Overall hotel is in poor condition and run down. Staff seem to be doing their best. After staying at an ibis budget at Heathrow I thought this would be better. How wrong was I. This is my opinion on my stay. Yours might be a different experience and my opinion and my opinion only shouldn’t sway yours.

Stay here every year for Lincoln rally and eat at the windmill next door as the food is much better. this year i noticed many people mainly foriegn / non uk smoking outside some were guests some employees. there were enough cicarette buts in the gutters around the car park to build a pyramid looks like it is never cleaned. ALTHOUGH I WOULD STRESS THE INSIDE OF THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN

The building overall could do with some detailed maintenance; for example, the lift creaked when it stopped; the carpets had some stains in the passages (but generally clean); some lights in the parking area are not working properly; there were cracks in the floor tiles of the bathroom. However, the room and bedding was spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptional, being genuinely friendly, respectful and extremely helpful. The above is being crtitical of small details while overall the hotel offered a great stay at a reasonable price. We cannot compliment the staff enough - they were great.

First time staying here. The noise from the road nearby is obvious even with the window closed. Hotel in general looking a little tired and run down. Some maintenance required - one of the lighting tubes in the lift is faulty, fire extinguishers in entrance way sitting on the floor instead of being on the wall. Reception area could be more welcoming and staff a little more organised.

Room smelt of wet dogs! My dog does not shed hair and does not have that doggy smell, had to spray air freshener on the carpet and keep windows open it was so over powering. Needs wooden floor or carpet cleaned once a fortnight. Some hotels seem to think its ok to let a smelly room out if guests have a dog but its not. Staff great, bed great

On entering the hotel main entrance, there was an overwhelming smell of Grease and fat presumably from the kitchen. Dated decor, rooms could have been cleaner, broken tiles all over the hotel room floor, sink wouldnt drain away
