Just an average hotel. Room and bed was large but bed was hard and creaky, room temperature hard to control so room was cold most of the time and plug was stuck in the bath! Food was not very warm at breakfast the first morning but better the second morning. Would have liked some toiletries in the room, i.e shower cap, slippers and water etc. but was told they didn't supply them even though we are Hilton honours members.

Please avoid this property if you require receipts. Not only does the hotel take £100 pre-authorise on your card, but they also don’t give you receipts for your stay or breakfast which makes things incredibly difficult if you are a business user. The team were unhelpful and knowledgeable about how to resolve the issues I encountered.

"I recently stayed at a hotel that, while boasting a clean environment and friendly staff, unfortunately fell short in terms of guest comfort and fairness. My stay was significantly disrupted by a loud party taking place in the function area directly above my room. Despite my complaints, the hotel's solution was to move me to a much smaller room without offering any form of refund for the downgrade. What's more disheartening is that the staff admitted they were aware of potential noise issues due to the event but still chose to rent out the room, which felt like a clear prioritization of profit over guest experience. Although I appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel and the politeness of the staff, the management's decision to disregard the impact of their actions on my stay was disappointing. This experience, perceived as a blatant money grab, has unfortunately deterred me from considering this hotel for future stays."

We had someone else's underwear left in the bathroom and the light/demister on the mirror in the bathroom didn't work. The staff apologised but didn't really seem overly concerned

Overnight stay
We had a lovely greeting at reception. The staff were great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bar is a nice place to drink as a good view of the waterfront. Would definitely stay again.

Doubletree Lincoln
Very enjoyable stay at Doubletree Lincoln. Extremely comfy bed and very nice room. Breakfast in the electric restaurant gave amazing views of the Brayford wharf and Cathedral. Nice choice for breakfast and friendly staff

Arrived 2 hours early but accommodated to check in straight away.wonderful friendly staff. Comfortable room, good nights sleep and first class breakfast helped due to the fact that the hotel was quiet, so all cooked to order rather than buffet style.Great location on the waterfront.

Always a comfortable stay at DoubleTree Lincoln Brayford Wharf. Staff impeccable and friendly as always. Great location with plenty of options for dinner nearby if you dont fancy Marco Pierre White's place on site ( but who wouldn't??)

We were upgraded to a suite (thank you Hayley) as there were a few niggles with our original room. This was very nice, our only quibble being we had to run the water for at least 5 minutes before it got even tepid and did not get hot enough for a bath or shower. We were told this was because the plumbing in the original part of the building is not as good as the new part!!! Surely this has to be sorted. Otherwise a very lovely stay, lovely staff and good breakfast. We will return.

I really couldn't fault the hotel. The second time i stayed here (this stay) was better than the last time as the room rate was really good. My only criticism re the first time i stayed would be, if i booked in the summertime that for the money i paid i would have wanted a better view. But really its only minor as there wasnt much to see in december anyway.

Nice Hotel, but maybe avoid rooms ending with ‘33’
Our stay was good and the hotel was clean, warm and comfortable. We arrived late and were allocated room 333. We were given cookies, bottled water and free drinks vouchers to compensate for the service lift, which (having misheard) I expected to be adjacent to our room. As it turned out there was a lift door actually IN our room behind the coffee table. To be fair this wasn’t really a problem (we’d been assured no one would use the lift) it just felt strange and a bit ‘Stephen King’. There was some noise amplified down the lift shaft from a Christmas party two floors above, but this stopped on the stroke of midnight by which time we had two glasses of fre wine each, so weren’t really bothered! A strange experience, which some might find disconcerting, but it certainly wouldn’t stop me staying at this hotel (or even in this room) again…. We were given the equivalent of a free bottle of wine which was fair enough!!

Nicely located hotel. Car park on site but £15 for the night and the spaces were tight. Walkable to the high street where there are loads of pubs and bars. Would stay here again.
