"This home is the perfect place if you want to get away from it all. The pool was clean and in good repair, the pond is stocked with plenty of hungry fish, the outdoor areas are ideal for grilling, bonfires and eating. The home is spacious and comfortable. In town, there is a gas station, dollar general and small menonite market. We enjoyed the kindness and hospitality of the pastor and people at Keense Missionary Baptist Church. It was the perfect retreat for my wife and I. Heads up, there is no television, but the wifi is strong and never gave us a problem. The air conditioner is a bit loud when running. We let it run during the times we were out and turned it off when in the house and were fine. Temps were in the high 80's and low 90's. High recommend to anyone looking to get away."

"We loved this vacation spot. The private lake was so tranquil and the indoor pool was perfect for all ages. Everyone slept soundly in their own beds and we had meals as a family around the extra large kitchen table. We also enjoyed movie night with popcorn around the huge tv. Our host provided great directions to assist in finding the home and came over to show us how to use the pontoon boat and pool. My son-in-law even caught a 7lb 11oz catfish. It was huge! We typically only visit a vacation home once, but this vacation home is on our list to visit again."

"Host was pretty responsive and kind. We did have some issues with double booking, but the host fixed it. The main issue we had wasn’t with the home or host. The VRBO displayed the incorrect address and it took us an hour out of our way. The home itself was clean. They had a lot of kitchen supplies and equipment. The garage area was very neat. It does need one more working heater. The blackstone needs a good cleaning. The darts were broken. So some amenities need some TLC. The location was central to where we needed it for our family, but stores are about a 15 minute drive to and 15 minute drive back. We liked all the sitting area in the living room. They need a couple TV’s in the bedrooms. They had lots of clean towels, pillows, and blankets. We enjoyed our stay overall. "
