Ok for the price l guess. Towel is extra cost which was surprising. Breakfast is included. Bed, bathroom and room was clean. Surrounding area is a little shady at night. Noisy too as it is right by the main road. If you are looking for a clean, cheap place to crash for the night between flights, this works.

Beautiful Lima
My stay at Tupac Hostal was a great one. The area is definitely apart from the tourist areas closer to Miraflores. It's a neat environment. The greatest part about this specific location is the proximity to amazing mercados where you will be enveloped with merchandise and produce of vast assortments. The staff at this hostal are unique. They are truly friendly and and you may...you just may get invited to a private affair!! The rooftop bars make for quite the backdrop amidst the mysteriously beautiful dessert hills and a lowering sun. The breakfast al libre every morning is an added touch.

The price and location of this was excellent! I twas close to the airport. We had a very short layover at the Lima airport. It was awesome to get a hot breakfast, a private shower, and a few hours of sleep.

1 night layover
Hostel close to the airport (10-15 mins). Ideal for 1 night layover but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. Not the nicest part of town, but just 20 mins walk to a Mall the size and quality to match any in London. Very attentive service.

The staff is wonderful ! They are smart, well informed and very helpful. The location is superb and if you prefer a neighborhood that is genuine and not tourist oriented; you'll love stayng there. The desk staff will forever be in my heart.

For what it is and the price it is very good. Taxi from the airport very good- my plane was delayed and he waited. Let the Hostel arrange the cab.

The internet was surprisingly fast; we were able to stream video with no problems. The breakfast was pineapple, mandarin oranges, and rolls. The showers had warm/hot water (for at least 5 minutes).The staff were very helpful and spoke English fluently.

Do not stay here. No credit cards and no key for the outside door. You are basically in jail waiting for the owner to come down and open the door for you. Bathroom is disgusting

We used this property as a layover spot for our luggage and a quick nap before flying back out of Lima after 12 hours. They arranged for airport pickup and drop off for our group of 6. We booked 2 rooms. They were very clean and had everything we needed for our short stopover.

Quick and easy layover hostel Airport transportation was very helpful, never misses a flight. Front desk arranged taxi drivers for airport pickup up and drop offs. Rooms where very clean Hot water showers! Kitchen Market, restaurants, convenience store, pharmacy etc all within walking distance Great rooftop lounge area Great spot for overnight connecting flights Free breakfast that we only had once due to early flights

I've book the room for my parents who were just going to be less than 24hrs in lima, they helped them with the transport to the airport, and gave some ideas about what to do in so short time... Really a nice hotel, and the staff very efficient to. I totally recommend it!

We had a terrible experience here and should have known better than to stay here. The location was terrible in a dirty part of the city and far from anything. The front desk ripped us off on our money exchange. She took US cash from us in exchange for Bolivian Sol and ordered us an Uber. When the uber came the cash she gave us wasn't enough for our ride! Thanks!! When we returned back to the hostel, it was past 11pm which was enforced quiet time hours. It was so loud with 3 men yelling and watching tv on full blast. We asked the front desk to please warn them and they could relocate into a tv room area or the rooftop. That did nothing. The rooms were small, dirty, and smelly. We ended up leaving that same night at midnite, we couldn't take it any longer. We didn't get our money back and checked into a much better hotel that was clean and quiet in a wonderful neighbourhood.

Hi Tina, Lima is a huge city and it has different kind of neighborhoods. Our hostel is located close to the airport. People chose us because they do not want to spend money and time going all the way to another district. Our exchange rate for $1 Us dollar is 3.15 soles. The exchange rate of the market is very close to it so we haven't ripped you off like you mentioned. We usually do not exchange money but we tried to help you so you can pay your uber and you didn't have to go to a bank. Uber sometimes has different rate depending the traffic, but this service you ordered it yourself so we can't help you with that. The other guests that we watching TV were aware about the noise they were making by our front desk employee. He called me at 11 pm to tell me about this issue. So i know for sure that he told them to stay quite. We are sorry that you didn't like our hostel but as i mentioned before, our hostel is differentiated by its proximity to the airport and our good service.

Nice hostel but in bad location
The staff are very helpful and friendly and the room we stayed in was clean/satisfactory. The reason why the hostel is so cheap is because it is in a very bad part of Lima; if you stay here be very careful (especially at night) and do not go outside unless a taxi is waiting for you.

Mistaken Room reservation
We thought that we had a shared room for the 2 of us but when we arrived we found that we were in a room with 10 others, co-ed, with no window that opened and a strong foot odor. People were leaving early in the morning and we all shared one bathroom that was not that clean (probably because there were 10 people using it) If you were a backpacker it would be great but my daughter and I were not expecting this!! One of our friends also ended up in the room with us....it was noisy and none of us slept that well. The front desk was really good and fast, the breakfast was some watermelon and cereal/ white bread. But for the price it was good. Hot water and wifi. Lots of stairs to go up if you have a suitcase though... we were on the 5th floor. I would go back if I had the shared double room and no suitcase!!!

Just Right!
We, three older women friends, found this hostel conveniently located to the Lima Airport and after 30 hours of travelling, it was the perfect spot to spend one night before flying out of Lima the following day. They were prompt in confirming our reservation and providing round trip transport from the airport for $20USD for all of us. Found a great small restaurant within easy walking distance, too!

We arrived at midnight. We used a pick up service coordinated by the hostel, and smoothly accessed to the hostel. The rooom is clean and the bed is comportable.

Close to Lima airport
The Tupac room was basic;but clean with a comfortable bed. It was a bit stuffy as the window opened to the breakfast room below. The continental breakfast was good with very fresh bread/buns, coffee,juice,fresh fruit,etc. It was interesting to read the "wall" in the breakfast room where guests wrote their "graffiti". Staff were very friendly and helpful, speaking English. The pre-arranged taxi to/from the airport was prompt. There was a computer for use in one of the common rooms.

Super hot and stuffy
Took advantage of airport transfer offer since flight landed late at night. It was nice to have taxi driver waiting for us at the airport, but the $20 (US dollar) charge was unnecessarily expensive. Staff was friendly, but room was SUPER hot and stuffy! Almost unbearably so. Room was clean and bathroom was adequate.
