We had a comfortable 2 night stay at Novotel Suites Lille Europe. The room was spacious and we appreciated the large tv, fridge and nespresso machine. The only negative was that the sheets weren’t very soft on the beds and felt starchy.

Disappointing after an issue with Eurostar
Good hotel. The staff were clearly challenged, and under pressure due to an issue with Eurostar. Our booking through your portal wasn’t action correctly. I’m holding Hotels.com partially responsible for this as there was zero feedback via email to explain there was a problem, prior to us arriving. Trying to resolve the issue was slow and ineffective. The portal was unhelpful as the staff weren’t answering the phone to Hotels.com as the hotel was fully booked.

I’ve stayed here a few times over the years. Staff lovely as usual, great breakfast and comfortable bed with a pillow selection. The place is starting to feel a bit dated, and it’s a bit pricey now for what you get. No body lotion in the bathroom, nowhere to hang the hand towel in the toilet, minimal tea/coffee options in the bedroom. It’s in a great location for walking into town though, and it’s a comfortable nights sleep now which is the main thing.

Situated right opposite to the train station. Very convenient if you are travelling by train. Not so much if you are by car like us as parking is expensive and traffic is horrible around the hotel. Bathroom and rooms are clean but there is nothing specially luxury about this hotel. It feels like a upgraded Travelodge and certainly not a 4 stars. Staffs are friendly though.

Overall probably fair value for the cost; note that this property does not appear to have climate control in the rooms which makes them uncomfortable at night during the summer months. keeping the window open is not an option as the surrounding area is noisy. Location is very convenient for Eurostar/rail travellers with the hotel being just above the terminal. Staff were friendly and polite and resolved minor issues promptly. Didnt have the 18EUR breakfast in the hotel, instead walked the 15 minutes to the centre and ate at Paddo Cafe which was amazing and i thoroughly recommend for artisan coffee and brunch type dishes including avo eggs etc.

The hotel is very well located. The room was cleaned. The lobby is a good place to stay while waiting. Train Station just in front.

Great hotel for travel as it is opposite the main station! Rooms are large and comfortable. Have a nesspresso machine and the lobby has 24 hr snacks/food available as well as table football and a bar so great for hanging out in one easy place. Perfect for family travel! We will be back.

My family and stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. When I had an issue with reservations they helped me to get to the right persons and get the adjustments needed. I would recommend this hotel due to its excellent location and easy access to train station

Good location with Westfield opposite. Less than 10 min walk into town. Room was comfortable. Cleanliness was ok overall. Decor could do with an update. Fridge just about kept water cool. Bathroom door could use a bit of oil. Bath didn't switch from shower mode fully. Noise from people running through the corridors or talking loudly close to midnight (maybe put up some signage please be quiet after 10PM) Overall, a pleasant stay. RM 406

First, the location of this hotel is perfect if you are traveling by train to Lille as it sits directly across from the station. There is also a mall with shopping and food options by the station. The metro is easily accessible, and you can walk to old town Lille in about ten minutes. However, a couple of things about this hotel prevented an excellent stay. First, the air conditioning in the room did not cool down regardless of where I set the temperature. Second, despite carefully hanging a Do Not Disturb sign as provided, staff nonetheless entered the room. I found this incredibly unsettling, and it was the first such incident I have experienced in thirty years of international travel. The reception staff were fine, but their professional enthusiasm paled in comparison to the two boutique hotels I used in Paris on this same trip. I am undecided if I would stay at this hotel again. If I do, it would be purely for the convenience of the location.

This hotel is ideally situated right opposite Lille Europe station, it is also only a 5 minute walk from Westfield Lille with shops, restaurants and a large Carrefour supermarket. The hotel itself is lovely, rooms large with a microwave and small fridge. The bed is extremely comfortable. However the rooms are very hot, even in February so I dread to think what it would be like in the Summer.

Staff was nice, friendly and helpful. They let us check in slightly early and provided a baby bed for our little girl. Wash rooms in room feel a bit like an airplane cabin, does not match the rest of the hotel modern feel.

A Covid stay
The hotel was still in "Covid" mode so limited activity but compared to our previous nights Novatel unfortunately not as good. The room was exceptionally warm as there was no airco only ambient air movement. The lifts were slow due to it seems all guests being on the high floors. The area is not pleasant but all stays are probably for the train services. The car park next to the hotel is easy but expensive 31€ per night. We stayed out of necessity for the train.
