"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. "Nous nous attendions à un village de vacances agréable. Nous avons senti la fin de saison. Notre logement était vraiment low-cost, les lattes du lit en bois dur, un lit double avec 2 matelas de différentes hauteurs, des insectes au plafond et au mur. Nous n'avions rien trouvé d'agréable à notre arrivée en ce mois d'octobre. Un baluchon à transporter depuis la réception avec notre literie. Déçu de notre réservation."

"The owner/manager of this hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. He speaks English very well and shared his considerable knowledge of the area, answering our many questions. The hotel's location in this lovely town is perfect -- in a quiet place but steps from all the big monuments and sights. We definitely will stay again if we are in the area."

"I arrived slightly earlier than planned, and decided to see if I could check in. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and gave me plenty of useful information about the local area while they checked whether my room was ready. Excellent first impression, very clean, tidy, modern, great ambience. Lovely room, and parking close by too. Highly recommended."

"The hotel was beautiful and very authentic, with lots of original features. The pool was a great facility as it was around 30 degrees when we arrived after a long journey. It was beautifully clean and had stunning views. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the sunny courtyard. A wonderful stay!"
