"The Campanile suited our purposes insofar as its situation. We were able to park the car safely and easily and take the bus into La Rochelle. We had a prob with the air conditioning which was promptly rectified/change of room and offer of one free breakfast. The room itself was spotlessly clean but a bit Spartan and the view from the window was poor. "

"The terrace is a big plus for the hotel and the lovely view. I also liked the fact that it was out of town and encompassed a very pleasant walk through the tree-lined pathway. The breakfast and aperitifs were all very nice, but I must say, the staff were all brilliant. Really friendly, easygoing, helpful. I would easily recommend it and go again! "
