The children will enjoy themselves in the large garden with playground equipment, trampoline and pool. The parents are enjoying the Southern French sun on their sunbeds or have already started their aperitif on the covered terrace! The rooms are spacious and bedrooms have mosquito nets and beds of very good quality. Avoid traffic jams by renting this villa from Friday to Friday! The villa's large, enclosed garden borders a D-road 5 km from the cosy, village of Les Arcs-sur-Argens. The village has a medieval core and on the beautiful village square you start the day well with a café au lait. On Thursdays, you can pick up Provençal delicacies at the weekly market. If you want to go out by car, we have the following tips. Take a morning dip in the sea at the beach with the lively resort of Sainte-Maxime (half an hour's drive). Then take the ferry to legendary Saint-Tropez for a delicious lunch. At the end of the day, stop by the Maison des Vins in Les Arcs-sur-Argens for a little wine tasting. This winery gathers all the wines of the region, so convenient! The seaside resorts of Cannes (60 km) and Nice (90 km) can be reached within an hour. Groceries, cycle hire and restaurants in Les Arcs. Amusement park at Fréjus (26 km) and fun water park at Vidauban (10 km). The impressive Gorges de Verdon and the super blue Lac de Sainte-Croix are already 40 km away. Prefer to tee off? There are several 18-hole golf courses in the immediate vicinity: Domaine Saint-Endréol near La Motte and Golf Barbaroux near Brignoles. On the river Argens near Entrecasteaux (within 15 minutes you can reach the pick-up point by car) a canoe trip is a must, a personal recommendation because you feel like you're in the Amazon. And quite exciting here and there with those little waterfalls, where you have to keep your canoe straight! Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Im Gegensatz zu den beiden vorangegangenen ... Zum dritten Mal in Folge waren wir im La Noura. Im Gegensatz zu den beiden vorangegangenen Aufenthalten waren wir dieses Mal enttäuscht. Zunächst mussten wir feststellen, dass sich das Ameisenproblem nur verschlimmert hatte (mehr Ameisenfallen) und keine Lösung für die Ursache des Problems angeboten wurde. Wir sind jetzt fast ein Jahr hier. Zum Beispiel gab es immer noch denselben Mülleimer, der sich nicht richtig schließen lässt (Alter/Verschleiß?), und in der Küche gab es mehrere offene Spalten, durch die die Ameisen jedes Mal in wenigen unbewachten Minuten an die Lebensmittel auf der Arbeitsplatte gelangen konnten. Man kann eine Melone oder aufgeschnittene Orangen wirklich nicht 5 Minuten dort liegen lassen, sonst sind sie voll mit Ameisen.... Außerdem wurden wir an einem Abend im Voraus darüber informiert, dass die Gartenbewässerung gewartet werden würde. Am Tag selbst stand plötzlich ein Gärtner hinter dem Schwimmbad, der nicht nur die Gartenbewässerung kontrollierte, sondern auch Gartenpflege betrieb und deshalb mehrere Stunden im Garten um das Schwimmbad herumlief. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, Sandra, empfand dies selbst als sehr ärgerlich, gab aber an, dass der betreffende Gärtner sie erst kurz zuvor darüber informiert hatte. Auch ein kleines, aber lästiges Problem, das mehrmals täglich auftrat: die Blockierung der unteren Schublade der Spülmaschine beim Ein- und Ausräumen. Aus einem unbekannten Grund drehen sich die Räder immer wieder nach innen und blockieren die gesamte Schublade. Wenn der Geschirrspüler voll beladen ist, wird es schwierig, diese Räder jedes Mal wieder gerade zu stellen, damit die Schublade wieder richtig in den Geschirrspüler eingesetzt werden kann. Dieses Problem trat auch bei den letzten beiden Aufenthalten auf, wurde aber auch nicht behoben. Außerdem war es unter der überdachten Terrasse ab dem Nachmittag fast unmöglich, zu essen. Die Wespen, die sich zwischen den Fliesen der überdachten Terrasse niedergelassen zu haben schienen, flogen ein und aus. Diese Wespen gingen regelmäßig in den Swimmingpool und zeitweise schwammen bis zu 5 Wespen im Wasser in der Nähe der Treppe. Kurzum, wir waren von unserem Aufenthalt enttäuscht, zumal wir erfuhren, dass der Eigentümer selbst in der Woche zuvor dort gewohnt hatte und unserer Meinung nach in der Lage gewesen wäre, diese Probleme vor Ort festzustellen oder sie zumindest in den Monaten vor Saisonbeginn zu lösen. Letztes Jahr waren wir im Oktober eine weitere Woche in La Noura. Für dieses Jahr werden wir es noch auswerten und mögliche andere Möglichkeiten untersuchen. Wie bereits erwähnt, bleibt dies ein schönes Ferienhaus mit allem, was für einen angenehmen Urlaub. Vielen Dank an den Eigentümer und den Hausmeister, die das bereits erwähnte Problem mit der lauten Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern behoben haben. Wir haben unseren Schlaf sehr genossen.
