Great location ! The parking is up the street but they gave us a voucher to pay the cost. Great breakfast and comfortable room.

Not the best hotel, very dated & old fashioned with music blaring until early hours of morning. Music so loud I felt the DJ was in our room! I complained on arrival that bed had hairs in it and bathroom had marks beside sink. We were offered a change of room for 1 night only which I didn’t want so the only way forwards was for me to change sheets myself & they were happy to give me clean sheets & cleaning product for bathroom! We had a tiny balcony overlooking sea which was amazing. Breakfast basic but adequate. 40€ for a sun umbrella & 2 sun beds for a day! Car park a 7-10 minute walk away but they did give reduced parking. I would not stay in this hotel again.

Location on the water was great. Many dining options nearby. The hotel itself could use a bit of a refresh. Our biggest issues were that the AC was not available. We were told it was to early in the season to turn it on. No beach chairs or deck available, apparently to early for that to. Not necessarily a problem if you let me know on the website that these things are seasonal. If you post it as an amenity, then it should be available.

The balcony view was amazing and the concierge was fantastic. Breakfast could do with some improvements but the location is great. We love this area. Great hotel to stay in.

I’ll start with the good… the location is great and the guy who works the Night Shift is friendly. Now on to the bad… the bed is hard as a rock and makes a terrible noise every time you move while laying in it, the staff (other than the Night Shift receptionist) are not welcoming and seemed to be bothered every time you asked for something, the hotel decor is dated and confusing. It could benefit from a major refurbishment. No notice in advance of hotel sponsored parties with blaring music that continued until 12:45am. I believe it was the police who finally made them turn off the music. Lerici has the potential to rival Portofino, but it unfortunately misses the opportunity to do so.

1.) On arrival in the evening we were detained personal documents, since this is not usually we are in check for departure, we did not think to collect personal documents from them at the reception. the very next day we sent an e-mail, called by phone and got the answer that they don't have it in the hotel. This is definitely a lie and very incorrect from the administration. 2.) the extra bed for 3 adults was almost like a baby and it was impossible to sleep. Shame and we do not recommend this hotel to everyone. Breakfast very bad too!

This was a perfect beginning to our Family Italy vacation. We used this hotel as our base to visit other towns during the day. Located On the waterfront with several restaurants to choose from. Ask the desk staff for recommendations, they wont steer you wrong. Area is great and scenoc. Room was clean but small , however, we weren't in it. After starting our day with the breakfast they offer we were off sightseeing. I have misplaced my list of exceptional Staff but the gentlemen that checked us in was more than just accomodating then and throughout out stay..

The Hotel is in a great location and Lerici is a beautiful little town. It is close to bus stops and the water ferry to Cinque Terra. Breakfast is on the 5th floor with lovely views of the water. The only negative thing was the bed was extremely hard!!

What a surprise this resort was! A real find, beautiful setting , lovely restaurants and an easy walk to the nearby resort of Terenzo which was smaller but just as charming. Ideal base from which to hire a boat or take one of the many cruises to the surrounding area. There are areas of free beaches, but most are “lido “style where you pay for the use of sun beds etc, however Hotel Shelley has its own sunbathing area with access to the sea which is a real bonus. Staff are very courteous and the view from the balconies and breakfast room, (fab breakfasts btw) is outstanding. Parking is the only issue as there is none directly outside the hotel (other than the drop off and pick up of luggage) You are given reduced rates at s local car park about 500m down the road which was fine. Would most certainly. stay again.

Great location with wonderful views. Comfortable and clean. We had a great time, ladies hoped to have had an iron available which wasn’t. No fridges in rooms but they told us they are installing them this summer.

The location and view and price are perfect! Breakfast was very nice as well. The issue is the room. It’s so dimly lit you can’t see anything! Also the noise from the street kept me up all night. On Saturday there is a nightclub down the road that blasts music past 2am. Even with shutters, doors closed and shades drawn there was no hope of sleeping. The furniture is extremely outdated. A mini fridge would have been nice. And even with with Do Not Disturb sign on the door the housekeeper barged in.

Great Location
We stayed 7 nights at this hotel and the location is probably the best in Lerici. But sadly that is the only reason to stay at this hotel. The rooms are very tired, very little storage and no surface space. The shower over the bath had a screen but at the opposite end of the bath to the shower head, so soaked the floor and anything left in the room every time you used it. The reception staff are far from helpful and when asked to make restaurant bookings rarely came back to confirm. The breakfast room was uncomfortably hot and the food selections often empty. I could continue, but leave it for you to decide how important location is to you!!!

The location was terrific. Our room faced the sea and the balcony was a great bonus! While a bit dated, the hotel is kept in good condition and is clean. The staff were all attentive and helpful. Even though the breakfast options were the same every day, there was such a great variety that you need not eat the same thing twice. My husband and I had such a great holiday that we are already planning to return for another week next year. If you're looking for a quiet holiday, then this is the place for you.

Great location. The hotel has benn renovated very poorly. Very disappointed by the breakfast experience. The quality is probably the worse I have seen in Italy, country well known for its amazing food. I suggest you don’t pay for the breakfast and enjoy one of the litte cafes or grab a fresh focaccia in one of the small bakeries of the town.

Nice hotel across from the beach in a very good location in Lerici. Good views (I would recommend Levels 1-3 as Level 4 has a concrete balcony rail) and a really good breakfast. A sunbaking terrace for hotel staff. Less than a 5 minute walk to the centre of town, a short walk to the sandy beach, and a nice flat walk to San Terezo. Close to the ferries to Cinque Terra and Portofino.

Nice straight forward hotel near beach and sea, fabulous views, from front of hotel and 6th floor breakfast room. Hotel has harbour sea swimming with private access across the road - good for children. Clean hotel. Very close to all amenities in the town. Informal comfortable lobby area and bar. Our en-suite was petite but quite functional. Great view from bedroom with nice balcony. Leriche is a gentle dignified resort, not too busy, with some of the best coastal views in Italy. Very hot in August but room was air conditioned. Good value

OK hotel, nice enough but not worth the cost!
No beach- a cement terrace that goes straight into the shallow water close to a lot of boats. Just a 10min walk away is a beautiful sand beach where you have to pay quite a bit to enter and rent lounge chairs/umbrella for the day (38 Euros for 2 people) but worth it. I would have stayed at a cheaper place and used this beach.

in Lerici there are boats moored in the marina and all establishments, such as our beach, overlook the marina. many guests like the fact that on our terrace there is no sand so you can have clean feet

My room was clean and comfortable, and I had a balcony with a beautiful view of the Gulf of the Poets. The breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast room provides a great view of the gulf.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Shelley e delle Palme. Room was good, view and balcony were great, services were great. Be aware, parking in Lerici is a problem. They have a system of parking for 5 euro a day if staying at a hotel, but the parking is almost always full. We circled for 45 minutes before lucking onto someone leaving a space. Otherwise we loved our stay there.

Spectacular views.
The Shelley e delle Palme is a small nice older hotel with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. The breakfast room also has the same view.

Good hotel by the sea
Book thru hotel.com unless you will pay the double... One night at 125€ directly from the hotel and the other night at 144$CDN... The location is perfect (front of the beach). Good restaurants around. Not too far from Cinque Terre (you have to have a car). The parking is at approximately 700 meters from the hotel (for 5€ per 24 hours) it is good. The breakfast is included. Check out at 10AM but if you ask at the reception it is ok to extend to 11AM. Clean room and nice view if you have the chance to have a front bedroom.

Needs some serious upgrades
Room was clean but building worn out and I need of repair. Ceiling tiles missing and bow drier out of the 70’s. It literally had a hose to dry your hair. Phone in the room did not work. Nor was it replaced after reporting it. Breakfast was just ok No one ever really went out of their way to assist us. I would not return.

Dear guest, we are really sorry for what happened in your room. It was not simple to repair your telephone, a technician has been called the day after and he worked to solve it: it could no be repaired by our receptionist. There is an assistance in reception 24 hours a day.
