"We had a pleasant stay at Metzgerwirt VIEH HELI. The hotel is located in a beautiful area next to the mountains and Hallstätter See, offering great views and a peaceful atmosphere. There are also a few affordable bistros and restaurants nearby, and Bad Ischl is only about a 20-minute drive away with plenty of dining options in town. The rooms were clean, neat, and comfortable. One thing that could make the stay even better would be having a kettle and some refreshments in the room. Parking space is conveniently available outside the hotel, which was very helpful. The breakfast was decent and covered the basics well. You cannot expect a huge variety of menu options, but for the price of the hotel, it was absolutely acceptable and did the job. Overall, it is a good value stay in a scenic location."

"This is a nice boutique hotel run by a family for three generations. It is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood yet is close to the cable car and the town center. Staff members were extremely helpful and friendly."

"Amazing place right on the outside of Hallstatt marketplace such a beautiful community. Felt like we were in a fairy tale. Unfortunately did not realize until leaving that bikes were available for free. Would’ve loved to have had that highlighted at the top of the amenities list however this hotel is magical and I highly recommend anyone staying in the area to consider staying here."
