Good location
We stayed here twice, as we needed to have a good wifi signal in order to complete an online meeting. The hotel has a good location with its own parking available for a small fee. Right next door to the hotel are two fast food outlets, along with a local supermarket and a garage. The room is adequate if not a little small, but is still quite comfortable given that not much time is really spent in a room anyway.,

The Ibis Chur is handy for the train station and buses, there is also a McDonalds, KFC and supermarket right beside it. However, the room looked much worse than the photos online, the carpet was disgusting and I wouldn’t walk on it with bare feet. There were also a lot of ants in the room, near the balcony but also on the furniture and beside tables and I felt I couldn’t put my things down without the ants being on them. The staff were friendly at check in but I wouldn’t stay again due to the room condition.

Check -in was good. Very comfortable bed.Still the room was small and no elevator if your room is on the 4th floor or higher. The person on a front desk could change our room which was very nice.

I'v been to various IBIS hotels but this was the first hotel where I have been asked to pay for tea/coffee which was a shock for me. How cheap they can go in order to save money. The tea coffee machine was placed at the back of the counter where this person asked us to pay him money in order to get the tea. Also at the breakfast there were RAW eggs placed in a bowl along with the boiler machine so if you want you can place your egg in the bolier and wait at least 10 minutes to get it boiled. How stupid I saw lots of people just ignored it all togather to save time. Very poor management.

The hotel is good. Everything was in good working order. Comfy bed. Just missing tea/coffee making facility in the room, but the bar at reception is open 24/7. Can get a bit noisy from traffic and deliveries queue early in to the adjacent supermarket

A medium to low class hotel
Hotel charges an extra for car parking. Overall condition is poor. Some youngsters smoking pot at the entrance, with the receptionist‘s apparent consent. I wanted a double bed bedroom but was given a room with 2 beds. Checked in at 3am but even so was not given the chance to swap to a double bed because they said I would have to pay an extra since the only rooms available with such beds were larger, if that was the case. So, reception was hopeless in terms of customer satisfaction.

It was difficult to find the entrance as it shared a building with MacDonald`s. Staff were OK but not particularly friendly or helpful. The room was really ugly-looked as though someone had walked over the floor woth diurty shoes. Balcony was inaccessible. No kettle.

Small rooms without air conditioning. They do provide a fan if you ask for it. The wrapped around balcony is nice feature as well as the door and window that opens to it. Bus stop is right in front but if you have 3 or more people in your party you are better taking a taxi, it is cheaper.

Overall, we had a good stay here. Guests should know that this place is at least a 20-25 minute walk from the heart of old town Chur. There is a bus stop near the hotel though. Otherwise, the breakfast was expensive and didn't provide many options for vegetarians.

It's official, I give up on Ibis -- the beds are uncomfortable and the lighting is barely better than a flashlight. Will only stay at the Ibis Styles properties and will still read reviews closely.

Ibis is what it is. It’s basic but all you need for a sleep & shower. Carpet in room filthy. TV extremely small. Bed was fairly comfortable. Not enough towels in bathroom one small one each. Breakfast was very basic. We had to keep asking staff to replenish bread, etc. No teaspoons etc. Overall a basic hotel but if it’s just somewhere to bed down, then it’s suitable. Very good location to all ski areas Laax, Lenzerheide, Arosa, Davos etc.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Short walk from the train station (approx 10 minutes). food is available 24hours, which is handy if you've had a long day. The carpet in the room could do with an up grade, but that's the only negative.

Clean and comfy
Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. You park in the garage and there is an extra charge for that. Breakfast in the hotel seemed overpriced so we tried McDonald’s and Burger King nearby, but neither sell breakfast. Overall a bit pricey but to be expected and the ski resort type town.

The young lady at the service counter was the best thing about this hotel. She was friendly, helpful and went out of her way to recommend places around town for my wife and I. She did a GREAT job!
