Great facility, staff and location!
I had an exceptional stay at a hotel in Limnos, Greece. The rooms were clean and had a modern design. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch, catering to a variety of needs. A standout aspect was the exemplary service; the staff were attentive and consistently went the extra mile to assist. Moreover, the hotel's central location made it an ideal hub for embarking on day trips across the island. My stay left me completely satisfied and I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Limnos.

It is a beautiful property, very well kept but felt it was a bit isolated. The staff ranged from not so pleasant to very pleasant.

Convenient location, great staff, lovely pool.
Spent a week at Varos Village. Well looked-after rooms and facilities, stunning views, large pool (always accompanied by great music), variety of drink and tasty food choices, and one of the friendliest teams I have had the pleasure to be looked after from. Every single member of staff seriously goes above and beyond, making visitors’ experience quite a unique one. Definitely a place to visit again. Separate note: If you visit Lemnos, rent an SUV. The coastline is enormous and the views incredible.

Aside from receptionist Gregory, one breakfast staff and the exceptional cleaning lady, staff are curt at best and rude at worst. Argumentative and most unhelpful. Great breakfast but very ordinary restaurant meals. Worst souvlaki in Greece. Pool was overcrowded with visitors not staying at the resort. Blissful promo photos must be a mirage.

Loved our front desk staff, they were all very helpful. Loved the grounds, the pool. Our view from our room was beautiful. It was nice to have drying rack outside on balcony to rinse clothes and dry them. I would recommend brighter lighting in the rooms. The lighting was so dark overall.

A wonderful place to stay!!
We were treated so well at this beautiful hotel. We arrived very early, and not only did the lovely reception staff let us in the room early, they also upgraded us! Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff - the owner should be very proud of them... A lovely, peaceful and relaxing place to stay. I would recommend to everyone!

Great pool
Didn't have our reservation but made check in easy. Our room was in village not in main pool area which was fine except we couldn't get in gate to check out. Excellent breakfast and reasonable dinner . You definetly need a car as nothing is in walking distance.

Pleasant and relaxing stay
The Varos Village pool and restaurant area were beautiful. The breakfast is second to none. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The idea of renovated houses was appealing and different. The only real issues we had was that the showers were ridiculously small and you could not move. The village is also located in the middle of nowhere so you must have a car. Most places were easy to get to and no a long way but there is no grocery store nearby that you can walk to.

Enjoyed Varos Village, Would Stay Here Again!
Had a very nice stay at Varos! The whole staff was incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay. Room was comfortable and very clean. The grounds are absolutely stunning and I had great views of a little village from my balcony which I loved. Free breakfast was also very good each morning. Would come back and stay here again for sure!

GREAT HOTEL FOR VACATIONS IN STYLE!!!
This hotel experience was unforgettable! this fantastic hotel, split in two areas, pool adn village, gives you the chance to live and move around a real Greek Village and feel calm and peacuful at the most you may can! Living in a village apartment, as we did, you will taste Greek hospitality, like staying in your best riend's house! the apartment was very big, with fantastic decoration and a garden full of flowers and spring's smell! in our private veranda, we tasted a nice breakfast with homemade marmalades, village bread, lemnian honey and handmade traditional pie! within 3-4 min distance walking, we were up to the main comblex where the swimming pool is, operates a little bit later, a fantastic gym to work out-my wife did every day- and a lounge with beautiful music! in summer time, we were told there are 2 more restaurants and of course a pool bar operates and the hotel;s private beach club, in about 5 min by car from the village. Ioanna, the receptionist is the perfect hostes! a very beautiful and always smiling person, ready to serve you as you wish! For sure, the greatest value for money choice in the island of Leimnos! We will be back for sure, this summer! A BIG THANK YOU TO VAROS VILLAGE HTOEL!!!

The triple room that I was obliged to take (for 2 adults and one 4 year old child I could only get a triple room or larger ) was not suited for 3 persons. The "extra bed" was in fact an extendable armchair extremely small (about 160x70 cm) and uncomfortable. We didn't have hot water for 5 out of 8 days of our stay (the boiler was defective and the staff was very slow to react to our complaints). The accommodation is done in few buildings scattered around the village. We went on holiday with another family but they could not offer us accommodation in the same location ( the distance between the two buildings was about 300 meters). The "Monastery" building (where we stayed) is about 500 meters away from the restaurant (breakfast) and pool and 3 km from the beach.

Dear Razvan, despite the fact your report is back at 2011, we would like to reply, since Expedia gave this advantage quite recently to hoteliers. We are always happy to receive our Guests reports and read them very carefully. However, about comments that could be solved during Guests'stay and not after departure, everything can be solved! About boiler problem, you mentioned the 4th day of your staying and it had been fixed the same day. Regarding your request upon arrival to stay in the same Village Residence with your friends, we kindly explained to you that the hotel was fully booked, in the middle of August and there was no possibility for any changes. About the distance you mentioned from Monastery to central facilities, you could check your booking reservation; all details are written in there. Moreover, on our official website there is analytical description for both hotel's area (Pool Suites & Traditional Village Residences) as well as a video tour and map in each room type wich describes the location. Your booking reservation was made for a superior room, located 150 to 750 meters away from the Hotel’s main facilities, with shuttle service on call, all day long. Regarding the closest beach, this is Kotsinas beach, about 1km away (3 min driving). Thank you for giving us the opportunity to reply back to Razvan and with mentioned details make clear to potential Guests that read this reply, to choose the room type according their preferences!

Toppen upplevelse, hotell med familjär känsla.
Vi hade en superhärlig semester. Läget är toppen. Mitt på ön där alla destinationer känns lagom långt bort. Nära Kotsina, en fin strand, promenadavstånd, restaurang vid den lilla hamnen vid ena änden av stranden hade mkt gott att erbjuda. Det bästa var ändå att hela hotellets personal var supertrevliga. Vi kände oss välkomna och omhändertagna. Som att besöka sin familj. Hotellet är mycket intressant med sina byggnader, inte minst väderkvarnarna. Stora vackra trädgårdar och ytor vid poolen och terassen. Stort tack till alla er som förgyllde vår semester. Vi önskar komma tillbaka snart.

Hübsches Hotel zentral auf der Insel
Wir waren dieses Jahr das zweite mal auf der Insel, und auch das zweite mal in diesem Hotel. Sauberkeit und Gemütlichkeit ist Top in diesem Hotel, auch das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Allerdings ist das Essen im Hotel selber etwas Teuer und auch nicht so gut. Da wir aber immer nur Halbpension hatten und man nahezu in jedem Dorf ein paar sehr schöne Tavernen hat, stellt das kein Problem dar. Ich sollte aber noch dazu sagen das wir beide male die Windmill suite hatten :)

Nettes Hotel zum ausspannen.
Gutes Frühstück, netter Service. Leihräder, Mietwagen, Taxi wurden vom Hotel organisiert. Die Apartments befinden sich im Dorf; haben gut in der Taverne im Ort gegessen.

For families with babies and small kids it seems easier to book a room/suite in pool area since all common facilities (pool, gym, breakfast area, restaurants, pool bar) locate in the same area. Hotel's Village Residences locate in Hotel's Village Area is easier for families with children that do not need a stroller to move and are of same comfort, style and big size, especially the Village Suites. Thank you for given us the opportunity to explain better our hotel's concept and how Rooms and Suites are spread within Varos Village itself.

Δυστυχώς δεν καταλάβμαε ότι πρόκειται για διαμερίσματα μέσα στο χωριό. Δεν ήταν καθαρά (σκοτωμένα κουνούπια στους τοίχους), πολύ στενάχωροι χώροι, βεράντα ανύπαρκτη που δε μπορούσες να καθήσεις, έλλειψη wi fi τις μισές μέρες, πολυθ΄ακριβή τιμή για αυτά που σε προσφέρει, παλι΄τοερα μάλλον ήταν πολύ ωραίο κατάλλυμα αλλά τώρα δεν αξίζει τα λεφτά του.

Αγαπητέ Στέργιο ο τύπος δωματίου για τον οποίο κάνατε κράτηση αναφέρει ξεκάθαρα στην ενότητα "επιλογή δωματίου" ότι αφορά δωμάτιο το οποίο απέχει από 150 μέχρι 750 μέτρα από τις κεντρικές εγκαταστάσεις του ξενοδοχείου, με υπηρεσία μεταφοράς όλη την ημέρα, κατόπιν κλήσης σας στην Υποδοχή. Όσο αφορά το δωμάτιο, επίσης περιγράφεται το εμβαδόν του τύπου δωματίου που κλείσατε (Superior Room-Traditional Village Residence), καθώς και τα τετραγωνικά του. Στην περίπτωση που σας φάνηκε "στενό", θα μπορούσατε να επιλέξετε μια Σουίτα στο χώρο της πισίνας ή στις Παραδοσιακές μας Κατοικίες, μέσα στο χωριό, οι οποίες φτάνουν τα 120 τ.μ. Όσο αφορά τα μπαλκόνια, δεσμευόμαστε από την παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική του τόπου και τον χαρακτηρισμό με ΦΕΚ του οικισμού του Βάρους ως Παραδοσιακός, ως προς την αρχιτεκτονική και την αποκατάσταση των αρχοντικών ως ήταν στην αρχική τους μορφή. Για το λόγο αυτό υπάρχουν συγκεκριμένες διαστάσεις και μεγέθη, τα οποία δεν μπορούμε να υπερβούμε. Ωστόσο, στις Σουίτες της πισίνας, υπάρχουν δωμάτια με βεράντες μεγαλύτερες σε μέγεθος, κάποιες είναι και sea-view, όπως αναλυτικά περιγράφονται τόσο στην expedia/hotels.com, όσο και στο επίσημο site του ξενοδοχείου, ώστε ο υποψήφιος πελάτης να επιλέγει το δωμάτιο που ανταποκρίνεται πλήρως στις επιθυμίες του. Λυπούμεθα που παρανοήσατε τον τύπο δωματίου που εσείς επιλέξατε και προσβλέπουμε να έχουμε την χαρά να σας φιλοξενήσουμε ξανά σε κάποιο άλλο τύπο δωματίου που θα ανταποκρίνεται πλήρως στις επιθυμίες σας. Το ξενοδοχείο δεν συνεργάζεται με την Hotels.com η οποία προβάλλει αποκλειστικά το varos Village Hotel ,ο κόσμος κάνει κράτηση και τελικά βρίσκεται στο Varos Village residences και μάλιστα με τιμές ακριβότερες του ξενοδοχείου. Όσον αφορά στο Varos Village residences βρίσκεται στο 1 χιλιόμετρο μακριά από το κυρίως ξενοδοχείο και πρέπει καθημερινά να κάνεις αυτή την διαδρομή, μια που στην τιμή περιλαμβανεται και το πρωινό. Στο θέμα άνεσης, στα κρεβάτια δύσκολα κοιμάσαι σε αυτά τα στρώματα, αλλά και το επίστρωμα που τοποθετήθηκε μετά από διαμαρτυρίες βελτίωσε την κατάσταση κατά 50%. Επιπλέον, εκεινο το διάστημα υπήρχε ανεπάρκεια στα προϊόντα περιποίησης με έλλειψη σε σαμπουάν,σαπούνια κ.λ.π. Στον τομεα του πρωινού, ανεπάρκεια έγκαιρης τροφοδότησης του μπουφέ σε ώρες αιχμής και μικρή ποικιλία σε σχέση με την κατηγορία του ξενοδοχείου. Τώρα αν θεωρείται οτι η μεγαλη ποικιλία των γλυκών κουταλιού και τα σχεδόν ανύπαρκτα τοπικά τυριά αποτελεί την καλύτερη επιλογή , ας το κρίνει ο κόσμος. Γενικά μπορώ να πω για κακή σχέση ποιότητας τιμής.

Ωστόσο, όπως θα δείτε στην κράτησή σας, ξεκάθαρα δίπλα από το τύπο δωματίου αναγράφεται ότι ανήκει στο Traditional Village Residences Area. Πολύ περισσότερο, στο επίσημο site του ξενοδοχείου, υπάρχει διαχωρισμός και αναλυτικότατη περιγραφή των τύπων δωματίων και της θέσης τους, η οποία φαίνεται ξεκάθαρα με χάρτες και video tour. Τονίζουμε μάλιστα την ιδιαιτερότητα αυτή καθώς προσφέρουμε μια μοναδική εμπειρία αυθεντικής φιλοξενίας σε ένα παραδοσιακό, αληθινό χωριό, σε συνδυασμό με ξενοδοχειακές υπηρεσίες υψηλού επιπέδου. Επίσης, όπως βιώσατε κατά την 9ημερη διαμονή σας, παρέχουμε υπηρεσία μεταφοράς με golf car κατόπιν ζήτησης για την καλύτερη δυνατή εξυπηρέτηση των διαμενόντων πελατών. Τα ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά των στρωμάτων αναφέρονται σε ένα μέσο βαθμό σκληρότητας, ως προβλέπεται από τους ξενοδοχειακούς κανόνες Ωστόσο, με το πρόσθετο επίστρωμα που τοποθετούμε, εφόσον μας το ζητήσετε, το στρώμα γίνεται όσο μαλακό εσείς επιθυμείτε, ανάλογα με πόσα θα τοποθετήσουμε. Στις παροχές του μπάνιου προσφέρουμε πετσέτες, μπουρνούζια, παντόφλες καθώς και προϊόντα περιποίησης άριστης ποιότητας σαπούνι, σαμπουάν, κρέμα σώματος, κρέμα μαλλιών, αφρόλουτρο και σαπουνάκι για τα χέρια, σε ποσότητα αντίστοιχη με τα άτομα του δωματίου. Σε περίπτωση που επιθυμείτε μεγαλύτερη ποσότητα, απλά χρειάζεται να μας το ζητήσετε, και όχι να θεωρείτε ότι "ξεμείναμε" , πράγμα αδύνατο εν μέσω της τουριστικής σαιζόν και με ένα ξενοδοχείο γεμάτο κόσμο και καθημερινή συμπλήρωση των καλλυντικών ειδών! Τέλος, όσο αφορά το πρωινό δεν κατανοούμε πως τα τέσσερα εναλλασσόμενα τοπικά τυριά, κασκαβάλι, φέτα Λήμνου, μελίχλωρο και καλαθάκι Λήμνου, σας φάνηκαν ανεπαρκή, ενώ τα 3 διαφορετικά γλυκά κουταλιού, επίσης παραδοσιακά σας φάνηκαν πολλά. Δίνοντας τεράστια σημασία στο πρωινό μας και θέλοντας να προβάλλουμε την τοπική γαστρονομία και τα λημνιακά εδέσματα και μοναδικά προϊόντα προσφέρουμε σε καθημερινή βάση εκτός των τοπικών τυριών και των γλυκών κουταλιών, χωριάτικα ψωμιά με τοπικά άλευρα, θυμαρίσιο μέλι Λήμνου, ταχίνι λήμνου, μούστο ή πετιμέζι, φρέσκα αυγά (σε 3 διαφορετικές παρασκευές), πίτες, γλυκά, όπως χαλβά με σιμιγδάλι Λήμνου, φρέσκο γιαούρτι, πίτες και είδη όπως μούσλι, κορνφλεικς, αλλαντικά, φρέσκα φρούτα, κουλουράκια, κέικ και άλλα. Το πρωινό μας έχει λάβει την πιστοποίηση "Ελληνικό Πρωινό" από τον ΕΟΤ και το ΞΕΕ και μάλιστα αποτελεί ένα από τα 100 ξενοδοχεία που υιοθέτησαν την προσπάθεια αυτή το 2012. Επίσης, έχει λάβει την πιστοποίηση από τον ΕΟΤ "Ελληνική Κουζίνα - Γεύση και Ποιότητα", με βράβευση για τα τοπικά πιάτα που σερβίρει, τα βιολογικά μποστάνια που διατηρεί, τις συνεργασίες με τοπικούς παραγωγούς και την προσπάθεια για την διάδοση της λημνιακής γαστρονομίας εντός και εκτός του νησιού. Στα πλαίσια αυτά χαιρόμαστε να ακούμε τις καλοπροαίρετες κριτικές και τα σχόλια των πελατών μας για τον εμπλουτισμό των προσφερόμενων γεύσεων και συνταγών. Σας ευχαριστούμε.
