"A beautiful, charming property with so much character. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Our suite was gorgeous and well equipped with lots of lovely touches. The pictures do not do it justice! The spa facilities were excellent with a lovely outdoor area to enjoy in the warmer weather. Dinner at the 1530 restaurant (we had the taster menu) was divine. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning."

"A great location with a willing staff. Breakfast was not a buffet - hurrah! Usual early checkout late check-in shenanigans, the weather was relatively cool, but the single fan in the room looked like it might have been inadequate if it were hotter! All in all a great stay."
