The Elephant Room is one of seventeen holiday properties at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. It is only a ten minute drive to Tring Railway Station, shops and facilities, or a ten minute walk to Ivinghoe village, with pub, shop and tea room. London Euston is a 40 minute train ride from Tring Station. The Elephant Room is a first floor studio flat with kitchen area and separate shower room. The studio is furnished for a comfortable stay, with 5 foot king size bed, TV and DVD player, digital radio and broadband access. The shower room has a basin, power shower and separate toilet. The kitchen corner is well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment. Access to a washing machine and dryer is available by arrangement with the main house. The table has seating for two people. The property has access to a communal tennis court to hire and games room. There is also a shared garden available on the farm just a short walk away. This apartment is a serviced apartment which includes a weekly linen change for longer stays. Parking for one car is available on site. Wi-fi is included in the rental. This property is not suitable for pets or children. We request a refundable GBP100 damage deposit for stays of up to 27 days, and one week`s rental for stays of over 28 days.
