Perched above Kathisma beach surrounded by lush greenery, Villa Orizontas has a unique and breathtaking 270 degree panoramic sea view of the turquoise Ionian Sea. Villa Orizontas is just a short drive from the picturesque village of Agios Nikitas with a handful of tavernas offering fresh seafood and local wine, perfect for lunch or dinner after a day spent on one of the nearby beaches. Kathisma is the largest of these, situated just 2.5 Kilometers from the villa, it features a long stretch of sandy beach with sun beds and umbrellas available for hire, lined with lively beach bars and some excellent tavernas.

Our local architect, George Kavadas, with his flair for design, merged authentic traditional lines with minimalist modern comfort and has created a fantastic combination resulting in a one-off villa that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The environment around the villa was protected as much as possible during the building and has been replanted, since the completion of villa Orizontas, with gorgeous endemic plants and herbs which spread fantastic aroma around the property during the summer months.

The seascape plays an important role in the design of this property, with large full-length windows and French doors flooding each room with light and framing the stunning view. Designed with comfort in mind with Air Conditioning in every room, Villa Orizontas sleeps 4 persons in two comfortable and private bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room and WC. The Master bedroom, situated on the ground floor, light and airy with modern furnishings, has large French doors leading directly out to the spacious poolside and sunbathing terrace. The twin room, which can be made up as a double on request, has large French Windows with beautiful sea views and has en suite shower room, twin hand-basins and WC. Balconies on the upper level provide a wonderful setting for an evening meal, offering an unbroken view of the West coast’s famously breathtaking sunsets. On the upper floor an adjoining glass walkway leads to a beautifully furnished lounge featuring a large L-shaped sofa and full entertainment system. The sun shines through the modern glass windows and doors creating a feeling of the outdoors being brought into the villa with all the colours bouncing off the light coloured walls - it is truly an amazing feat of design created by George, our friend and architect. Leading off the lounge is the kitchen which is fully equipped with all the mod cons you will need for your holiday. We have equipped the kitchen with ultimate comfort in mind so aside from the essential dishwasher, microwave, hob, cooker, villa Orizontas is equipped with a kettle, toaster and toasted sandwich maker, coffee machine and Espresso machine, frying pans and deep pans of all sizes and enough crockery and cutlery for at least 8 people. There is a large gas BBQ on the balcony outside the kitchen
