Secluded Waterfront Get Away on Smith Mountain Lake

"The view was spectacular and this part of the lake was very quiet and peaceful. We really got a chance to unwind and simply breathe fresh air. Definitely worth visiting. The host was very responsive and quick to answer questions. Highly recommend this cabin."

"2nd best placed we stayed on our trip from CA to VA. Breakfast was great, staff was great up on the hill so no traffic noise, and the pool area was very nice touch to our stay. Only complaint was that the water was turned off without letting me know, when I got back to the hotel I didn’t know until I tried to turn on water even though you have to go up the stairs while passing the desk. Other than that would have been 5 stars"

"It is our second summer in a row at this property at Smith Mountain Lake. Everyone enjoyed being at the house again. The kids loved swimming in the pool and eating smores. The location is very peaceful but still well located near the state park, grocery store and marina. Thanks for another wonderful stay."

"Beautiful! Refreshing pool! All the comforts of home. We were not able to use the dock as we had planned as 2 of the family were unable due to mobility and health issues. But I made the trip and saw lots of geese.There was a doe and her fawn that took naps next to the patio and pool deck . The views were breathtaking! The kitchen had lots of pots and pans and dishes. I hope we can visit again next year! Thank you for your hospitality Theresa!"

"We had a great stay in Cabin #2. The cabin is clean and comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen. Everything was as described and ran smoothly. The deck is large and has great views. The owners were responsive. Smith Mountain Lake is wonderful. The location, a group of 8-10 like cabins, is quiet and secluded but is 20 minutes or more to stores and restaurants. We would happily stay in Cabin #2 again when we visit Smith Mountain Lake."

"Our stay was very enjoyable. The location of the property on the side of the lake closer to the dam. The area is quiet and a little further away from stores and restaurants but situated in a nature preserve. If you want a quiet, serene location, this cabin is for you. There was a dock that was perfect for our boat in a no wake cove with plenty of parking. The cabin itself is smaller and older, but pretty well kept and the price is very reasonable for the location. We would definitely stay here again."

"The cabin was clean and comfortable and we had everything needed for our stay. The host was very responsive and quick to answer our questions. One thing to be aware of is that the boat dock is not a floating dock, which may be important if you are bringing a boat. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to others."
