Fantastic hotel, within easy walking distance of Leeds city centre. Rooms are lovely, and really well-decorated with everything you need on hand; hotel is located in a side street which makes it nice and quiet. Please stay here- the wonderful staff are more than willing to help with anything you need, and nothing is too much trouble.

Have stayed here before and this stay was exactly as expected. Good location for Leeds centre and access to the motorway. Parking is not cheap though and room was rather cold. Would stay here again when next in Leeds
The hotel met all expectations. The room was well proportioned and clean and tidy. We stayed for one night with breakfast. Service was efficient, to the point and did what it was supposed to, but at no point did we feel we were staying in what should be Leeds city centre's finest and longest established luxury "boutique" hotel. We wanted to feel a bit special and a wow factor, so we took a suite, (not cheap) it was a great space and no complaints but just a bit underwhelming overall. I stay in plenty of hotels and the Calls could and should be fabulous. Personalised toiletries and complimentary water would feel to be a norm at this price point, as would newish towels, but sadly not on offer, perhaps we were just unlucky with the housekeeping. The Calls seemed very quiet in terms of guests and is literally surrounded by other hotels. we chose it as we wanted a boutique feel and as it was for a non business night away were looking forward to the small touches that make a big difference. Maybe they just need to remember why people choose them over other hotels, I'd love to stay again, as the location is great and it was ideal in many ways but just felt a bit lacking, sorry.
Spent a week in Leeds during the rugby world cup 2015. The Cosmopolitan was my base as I explored the town and it's attractions. Overall I was happy with my choice, it served my needs quite well. Only major negative point is that it is in the bar district, so quite a noisy neighborhood on some nights. Slept with ear plugs on a few occasions.

First class City Centre hotel with superbly furnished rooms. Hotel extends warm welcoming atmosphere to it's guests …More
We stayed for a girls weekend away and had a lovely time. We didn't spend too much time at the hotel but we enjoyed the time we were there. Hotel staff were pleasant, the hotel was clean and the room was lovely.
We received a friendly welcome and enjoyed the complimentery sparkling wine and chocolate ( lovely surprise)
The only thing we could moan about is the room door, neither us or the helpful person delivering the wine/ chocolate could open it!
After returning to reception and getting the cards re programmed the only way to open the door was with a hefty shoulder push, thank goodness my husband was around
Breakfast was ok, but can't say it was worth the money
