Posted 28-Aug-2017
Pros: The staff are very friendly and nothing is a problem for them
Cons: the only negative I can give is the cocktails are a bit pricey

Excellent hotel close to all shopping centres and amenities. If you are here for the nightlife it is also on your doorstep.

Dirty room

Posted 28-Aug-2017
Reading the other views I booked this hotel. Check in was fine but once I got to my room quickly I realised the room was unclean dirty marks on the duvet under the cover which was showing through, lots of dust unwiped on the back of the headboard, the sofa bed matress all you could feel were the coils .. very uncomfortable worst of all was the smell from the bathroom and toilet draining system bad, very bad smell was awful do they never check these things. My wife complained and she was shown other rooms which were not any better..., when we asked the manager we would expected much better standard for such a hotel she apologised and said she had only been in her role 2 weeks ??? Looks like management need to get there act together at this hotel ,,,

Great location in the centre of town.

Posted 25-Aug-2017
Pros: The location.
Cons: Cleanliness of the rooms.
Location: A very short walk into the centre of town where there are lots of restaurants and shops.
This hotel is in a great location - a short walk into the centre of the action. The staff were fantastic and the service was great. The only minor issues we encountered was the room could have been cleaner and the iron didn't work, but the staff were great at doing their best to correct this and followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied. I would likely stay here again.

Nice hotel very close to Leeds centre

Posted 23-Aug-2017
Pros: Location and the choice of breakfast
Cons: Family room could be brightened up, different set up in the family room with the beds a 15 year old girl and a ten year old boy were not happy
Location: Excellent location, everything you could want is right there within walking distance
Lovely hotel, very friendly helpful staff throughout the entire hotel. Room was clean but average, could do with brightening up (it was a family room) the kids loved the huge tv but didn't like the sofa bed that they were supposed to share!! (one 15 and one 10 boy and girl) Breakfast was fantastic lots of choice. Very central location to town and the railway station. Easy to find.

Hotel was generally OK. The room furniture and facilities was very basic. Even though the bathroom was clean, the carpet and the sofa could have done with some proper cleaning. Breakfast spread was pretty good. Could have done with some more fruit and better quality toast.

Perfect in every way!

Posted 11-Jul-2017
My partner and I stayed for 1 night and arrived an hour before check- in. The lady at the desk was really polite and managed to check us in early as our room was ready. Really helpful. There was convenient parking right under the hotel which is fantastic for a City Centre hotel and meant that we were not having to carry bags too far. The room was spacious and clean with lots of light and all the amenities you could wish for. Bed was both spacious and comfortable. This is well worth the money and I would stay here every time I visit Leeds from now on.

Great,dog-friendly hotel in the centre of Leeds

Posted 10-Jul-2017
Pros: The staff are excellent and the hotel is clean, stylish and very comfortable.
Cons: The lack of anywhere quiet to sit downstairs as the bar is noisy and the piped music is too loud.
Location: It's Leeds City Centre so there are masses of restaurants, bars, galleries etc. as well as Riverside walks.
We are Novotel fans and use them a lot as the staff are very helpful, the rooms are well-designed and they are dog friendly. The Leeds Novotel is very conveniently placed in the city centre but has lovely walks on the doorstep along the river. A slight downside is the lack of anywhere quiet to sit downstairs as the bar is noisy and the piped music is too loud. Rather than trying to compete with all the other bars in Leeds which do it much better, why not provide a quiet relaxed lounge for guests? Otherwise great.
