It was ok for what we paid and the room was quite large and the bed was comfortable but no mirrors other than a small one in the bathroom and there was paint on the shower floor plus the buger at dinner was vile and was not eaten.

Loved our stay here, really nice small tocuhes in the room, the pub itself is great with an amazing river view I would highly recommend this accommodation

Really lovely stay
I honestly could not fault my stay at Riverside. The room was clean and tidy and there was plenty of choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. My son loved all the biscuits and the little room with the single bed in. In the morning we went to the pub for breakfast and it was one of the best breakfasts I’d had in a long while.

Appreciate the feedback - for future reference if you can't find the key drop off box please leave the key in the room for us instead of taking it with you and not letting us know for 2 days

From start to finish we had a great 1night stay. Only down full was no breskfast served during the week, but this did not spoil our stay . Will defo return

This place is fantastic and they do all the hard things well. Location, staff, cleanliness and amenities. The one thing I would criticize is the mattress is terrible as in some 1970s spring torture device. If they fixed that I would never want to leave.

Really lovely setting and room was great my only issue was the bed only had a sheet on the bottom No mattress cover or protector ? Bed was not that comfy either Food was really nice in the pub

My room was small but well furnished with a comfortable single bed and well stocked bathroom across the landing. Anything I asked for was provided. However the TV seemed not to be working - lack of signal?

Great Thames riverside accommodation location. Sunday “Hospitality” B&B new low. Bar and restaurant early closing. Restricted food services. No Sunday evening dinner. No Monday morning breakfast. Web site says “free breakfasts”! aka Bring your own!

This wasn't our website saying this - Most of the pubs in the local towns and villages run reduced menus and hours on a Sunday afternoon/evening. Our times are advertised.

We stayed in Leach 1 - absolutely beautiful room - bed was so comfortable and there was a great selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. The area is lovely as well. Only negative was the Wi-Fi and tv connection was awful and at times non-existent.

Wouldn’t really recommend
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting 5 star but clean is the bare minimum and quite frankly it wasn’t. The bath/shower being dirty is not reassuring. If guests have access to something like a boiler cupboard (leading from the bathroom) then there shouldn’t be rubbish all over the floor of it. The mattress was incredibly thin and they had tried to make it better by a mattress topper (that could have been a duvet tbh) that did not fit so did not really help the situation. Unknowingly I was late for check in as the info I was provided from hotels.com advised check was open much later than it is on a Sunday so I do appreciate the member of staff staying later for us to collect keys. The staff were friendly. It was the condition/cleanliness of the rooms that was not good enough.

Riverside stay , Lechlade
Beautiful setting right next to river . Car parking free to residents . Staff very helpful and friendly . The room we stayed in was overall good .could have done with a little TLC, especially the radiator in the bathroom . That definitely needed a coat of paint . Mattress was a little on the soft side for us . No hair dryer ( not sure if they had one we could have borrowed from reception ) Plenty of tea and coffee in room along with biscuits too ! We found everything quite adequate fir our 2night stay and would stay again another time .

Riverside retreat
My partner and I have spent many days and evenings at the Riverside pub and have throughly enjoyed the atmosphere, very friendly staff and such a beautiful setting by the river. As it was a birthday celebration we couldn’t think of anywhere better to go . The accommodation did not disappoint, very modern clean and comfortable . Will definitely be staying again.
