Great Place To Stay
The cabin was clean and warm. Very charming. The staff lady who helped us was awesome! The location is great. Right down the hill is Deadwood. Highly recommend!

We booked our room last minute on a long cross-country road trip & Carol was lovely and helpful arranging for out late check-in to make it as easy as possible. The room was warm and cozy and welcoming, spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable with nice comfy pillows, linens & blankets. Great! We’d definitely go back!

We traveled out to Colorado and Wyoming and stayed in a dozen different hotels. The Ponderosa Pines was by far, hands down, the nicest of all of them! It had all the comforts of home. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable we felt safe and the staff was absolutely excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is in this area. We are already considering another trip next year and will definitely stay here. Carol is an absolute sweetheart!

In town for a Jeep event and it was the perfect location for us. Very convent to groceries, hardware store, food options, and the car wash (great for washing off after off-roading). Check in was fantastic, as the very nice lady took us to our room to make sure it suited our needs. She offered to show us a cabin, but since we would be out and about everyday, we really just wanted a place to sleep and shower. We stayed four nights and the beds were super comfortable! She checked in with us if she saw us outside to make sure we didn’t need anything and how the stay was going. Gave 4/5 for facilities, due to bathroom fixtures in need of updating (toilet, sink, bath/shower), but met our needs. Recommended and would stay again!

It was a very pleasant experience and very budget friendly. The manager was great and I will be staying there again. Comfortable and affordable. I especially liked the nice porch with lawn furniture. Easy access to your room as well.

Cozy, cute and clean!
A couple night stay to end our 10 day vacay out west. Loved this little spot. Very clean and comfortable bed. Would stay here again!

We came out for a long weekend getaway. The owner is lovely, the rooms are nice (we stayed in a cabin). It’s close to Deadwood, but a lot cheaper. We will definitely stay here again!

We booked a stay here last minute for an overnight during a long road trip. Booked a few days before our stay. We had room 19. Check in was easy, they were short staffed that day so the person working during the day called us and asked when we would be there and said she would leave the key in the room and leave it unlocked. Super easy!! The room was clean. The facility is older but well kept. We didn’t spend a ton of time there but I would certainly stay again. We got to see a great mule deer just laying in the lawn, wasn’t even scared of us. And the bed was extremely comfortable. Road noise was minimal and we slept very well!

When we arrived we had been told our room would be open with keys inside but the door to the room was locked and no one was in the office but after I was connected with the manager through the doorbell on the office it was not long before someone arrived to unlock the door and the manager was apologetic

Wonderful cozy cabins!!
Carol was very accommodating. Had to change our day due to my mistake , but Carol made it easy for us. The cabins are clean and cozy! The beds are exceptional! Very soft sheets and cozy blankets and pillows. We had a couple of deer stop by that were very sweet and friendly. We will be back to stay again!!

Mixed feelings. Loved our cabin and the price was very reasonable. However, within 10 minutes of starting the electric heater, the electrical plug and outlet started smoking and caught on fire. Had we not been there to unplug it, or had we been sleeping, this would likely have been a disaster. Would I stay there again? Not sure.

We appreciate your feedback. We apologize for the little discomfort you felt because of the heater. We have had all the cabins inspected and replaced any plugs and outlets that might have shown a little wear. We can assure you that this is NOT something that has happened before and will endeavor to make sure it doesn't happen again and all cabins are installed with smoke detectors and are updated on a regular basis.Again we apologize for this inconvenience, but sincerely hope you will give us another chance and come visit us again.

Sylvia was fabulous. So helpful and friendly. We loved how quaint the place was. Mattress was very soft, which is fine with us, but isn’t good for everyone. We would definitely stay again.

Loved the cabin very cozy and clean...well stocked. Air worked good and beds were very comfortable..only thing we had issue with is there was nothing saying the fridge box wasn't plugged in and we put leftovers and drinks in there ..not good...would suggest if your not going to keep them plugged in put a note on it letting the renter know to plug it in before using. .otherwise great stay
