Lovely little hotel, very cosy and great staff.
The hotel is right beisde the market and not far from the beach.
We arrived a little early before we were due to check in so we had a drink in the bar area which is very welcoming and cosy and to top it off the hotel has a gorgeous friendly dog who greeted us.
Staff were very helpful so cannot fault this little gem of a hotel
We weren't sure whether this was going to be good or not because of the reviews but we found it to be a nice stay. Staff friendly and accommodating. Great to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Restuarant food a little expensive compared to those in the town. But would certainly come back.
We booked at very short notice not having decided where to go prior. On confirmation of the booking from Expedia, we also received a second e-mail from the hotel direct with information about parking and a map showing how to navigate around the town.
The welcome (Clemence) was great, pleasant and informative above and beyond the norm: we were informed about places to eat and things to do in and around the town. This was also the same for all the other people we encountered who worked in the hotel. The room we had booked was fine but a little small. We were shown to another room which was a better size. Both rooms were well laid out and clean.
The communal areas were homely and quirky. There was a large sun terrace available (with drink service) which we did not use staying in the bar on the ground floor.
The hotel was quiet which suited us very well but I can imagine that it gets busy in high season.
It was quite a nice apartment in nice surrounds, although the gun club nearby did a make a lot of noise during the day and in the middle of the night !
I only book Hotels or apartments that have swimming pools. However, the pool was cold and therefore not really acceptable for the cost. I have stayed in a Pierre & Vacances Résidence, previously and the pool was cold there as well. My children moaned about it, I wouldn't even go in as I like a pool that is really warm.
Countryside apartment complex set in 250 hectares of woodland just outside Le Touquet, on northern France’s Cote …More
Le Touquet was first developed as a tourist resort on a remote stretch of Northern France's coastline in the late 19th century and reached its heyday in the 1920s when its long beaches and impressive casino became a playground for the rich and famous. Today's traveler will still find the same charm but adventure can also be had with horse-riding, golf, sailing and other watersports close to hand.
