We visited the hotel in early December and were upgraded as the hotel was not full. The promised upgrade to a sea view was actually a view of the sea was actually a view of the car park and rubbish bins but the room was spacious if lacking lighting. The bathroom was also spacious and sparkling clean.
The hotel is situated around15 minutes walk from the town centre which would be lovely in the summer.
Lovely little hotel, very cosy and great staff.
The hotel is right beisde the market and not far from the beach.
We arrived a little early before we were due to check in so we had a drink in the bar area which is very welcoming and cosy and to top it off the hotel has a gorgeous friendly dog who greeted us.
Staff were very helpful so cannot fault this little gem of a hotel
as it says, as it said on the hotel site and most other rooms. Simple room, very small. Shows and toilet almost in the room and not very private, but if you are only in there to sleep its fine. Public areas and general style etc are quite nice.
We went off peak season November and parked outside the hotel on a 4€ dialy meter charge.
We arrived at 2, room from 4 but they let us in, very pleasant.
We weren't sure whether this was going to be good or not because of the reviews but we found it to be a nice stay. Staff friendly and accommodating. Great to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Restuarant food a little expensive compared to those in the town. But would certainly come back.
You couldn't get a better location than on the beach with view of the huge beach and a balcony. The hotel room and staff need upgrading. Room was very tired and in need of modernising especially for the cOst of the room. It's cleanliness needs addressing too.
However the le touquet shops beach and place is very grand and a place to come back to again and again.
The ibis Thalassa Le Touquet hotel is a 3-star hotel with an exceptional location on the seafront. The hotel offers 91 …More
Le Touquet was first developed as a tourist resort on a remote stretch of Northern France's coastline in the late 19th century and reached its heyday in the 1920s when its long beaches and impressive casino became a playground for the rich and famous. Today's traveler will still find the same charm but adventure can also be had with horse-riding, golf, sailing and other watersports close to hand.
