I had three nights to visit nearby Puy du Fou. We were tempted to stay longer because it was so comfortable and felt like a home from home. We shared a 3 bed property for two couple and each couple had a bathroom. The property and grounds were clean and spacious. The kitchen had all supplies needed for basic cooking including a Nespresso machine. We would return for a longer stay. Lots of lovely old furniture, but new good quality bedlinen and towels. Very clean. We mostly cooked for ourselves, and the kitchen was well-equipped for such numbers. Outside, there's a new tennis court by the pool, both are great. (The free-standing pool in the main photo has been replaced by a much better one, and the badminton/volleyball court is no longer there). The outside dining furniture has also been upgraded from the white plastic in the photos and was very nice. It was perfect for Puy du Fou but also in a lovely area to explore - though we mostly stayed at home to enjoy the facilities. One thing to note - the pool and tennis are 'communal' which means you may be sharing them with another large party in the other half of the chateau. With a bit of polite communication that was not a problem, especially with so much fine weather."
