Okay for a night but I won't bring everyone ( very basic ) bring yourself a kettle and coffee if you want cuppa during the night, and hygiene not the best ' shower room could do with a good scrubbing

Improved Ibis
We'd stayed a while ago when it was a Mister Bed and it was a bit grim. Son stayed this time and says it's all been refurbished and was really lovely.

Basic but fine for an overnight stay
The rooms are small. However we needed a bed for the night on the way back from La Rochelle and it provided a clean bed and a hot shower for a good price. Don't expect anything but basic and you will be fine.

do not stay here !!! its disgusting and filthy . smelss of smoke , people smoking in reception . rooms are dark dirty and mouldy . bathroom is just gross , rust everywhere . cigerette burns in the sink , shower tray and toliet seat . shower curtain is just disgusting . no one to speak to on reception . AVIOD AT ALL COST .

No frills
A no frills hotel, which was expected given the price. We were travelling from Calais down to Bordeaux so wanted somewhere to stop on the way down. We arrived late and left early so just wanted somewhere to sleep. This was perfect for that v

Le Mans Mr Bed poor quality hotel
The room we were given was not to clean no air con was 30 + degres Toilet flush mechanism fell off the wall water was running all night. the mattress on the single unit was very badly stained and ripped. never used this bed, I have photos. Mould on wall under window.

Comfort at good cost
Great stop over hotel for us on way to south of France. Used twice now. Arrived after reception closed and easy self service to check in. Definitely recommend. Reasonable price.

When we vacation, we road trip. We rented a car at the airport and did a driving tour of Normandy beaches and then the Loire River Valley. Our stay in Le Mans was just a stop over so we just needed a bed. I didn’t come to France to be an American. I get that everything is smaller here and I knew that coming in July would be hot with no air conditioning. But we had already been to several other hotels with windows that open and another third floor room that provided us with a fan. (Fans do exist in France.) But this is a modern hotel that is very cramped, had a third floor room with a window that only opened 5 inches, and no other form of ventilation. I realize I did not pay a lot for this room, but to purposely design it without your guests comfort is completely lacking in forethought. I didn’t expect much and I didn’t get much. If you are vacationing in the cooler months, then you will probably be fine. But in the heat of the summer, this place failed.

Cheap . . . Not especially cheerful though
Stayed here twice over a ten day period, as a stop off point. First time, the bedding was definitely not clean. There were what looked like men’s body hairs in the bed, under the cover. The red blankets may not have been washed in a while either. Second time, the room was cleaner but the floor was stained in multiple colours, in multiple places and part of the wall was blackened. I’d respectfully like to suggest the hotel management considers replacing the carpet with wood/laminate flooring, as well as renewing the red bed covers. It would immediately look so much more appealing :-) But to be fair, it is cheap and the staff were all very warm and friendly. Breakfast was also inexpensive but offered a decent little buffet (avoid the hot chocolate though: bleugh!!) Carrefour literally opposite though, so perfect for snacks too.

Good location, but tired, dirty & smelly room.
Staff friendly and helpful (especially duty manager on Sunday, Saturday's duty manager was helpful, but through gritted teeth, clearly at end of a long day). Room was grubby, smelly, noisy and very tired - in desperate need of a refresh. Despite the price, helpfullness of staff and convenient location, we would not stay at this hotel again and would avoid Mister Bed hotels if this is typical of their poor standard of investment.

Reminded me of a night in prison
I chose a too cheap hotel for my stay in Le Mans. I just needed a night over during my travel through France but I didn't sleep well and the room was not comfortable. Reminded me of a night in the joint at the police station in Smethwick/UK... The staff was kind at the hotel and I could leave after paying for parking. Spend a bit more and get a lot more.

Ideal for late arrival
You can get your room key at 3.30 am (or at any other time in the night) from the machine/wall without disturbing anyone (thanks for the 3 hour delay Eurotunnel!) not luxury but for a stop whilst travelling through France is always fine and excellent value.

This really is a budget hotel and as the name of the hotel Misterbed suggests, it is just a room with a bed. The room for four people was very small and stuffy with no air conditioning and i wouldn,t recommend it for a family. However, it was sufficient for an overrnight stay, there was parking and the breakfast and overall service was good.

Good overnight quiet hotel
Easily found by GPS. Easy free parking in hotel car park at front. Supermarket just opposite with ATM (Bankomat) some cafes also just opposite and a tram terminal. In an university semi industrial area that will have more amenities in time to come but a good clean quiet overnight stop. They even had read my preferences and supplied with no troubles.

You Get What You Pay For
I was in Le Mans for a conference at the university and booked this hotel solely based on its location and price. It was right near the university on the last tram stop (so you save on taxi when you arrive at the train station). The hotel was cheap and you got what you paid for: No front-desk service after 9:00 pm, a front-desk staff that spoke little English, no telephone in the room, thin pillows, and a shower-sized bathroom. I stayed for one-night and that was fine for me. I wouldn't have stayed longer.

Misterbed!
A good cheap motel, with a surprisingly decent breakfast, don't expect a quality bathroom or a large room to relax in. For a quick stop over when heading to the south of france it came in at under 20 euros a head with breakfast so suited our needs perfectly :-)
