Friendly staff who were happy to speak to us in English or French. Rooms always cleaned very well, decent sized pool. Great location too, as a bus stop is at the top of the road and goes straight to Cannes. This is the best way to experience France as you get to see more than just the beach. I wish I could go back right now!

The staff were incredibly nice but the hotel had some disagreeable features in that the A/C didn't work and the large group of students also staying who were partying all night channelled their smoke fumes through the air vents. Breakfast was a sparse affair of bread rolls and croissants and coffee from a machine for 9 euros. There was nothing at all in the room in the way of a coffee maker or refrigerator and the hair dryer was a little hot air pipe blower attached to the wall. However when I checked out they comped both days breakfasts and 3 days self parking.

We stayed at the Chateau residence le cannet for 2 nights in July and was quite impressed with the hotel and the price. We stayed in a studio room. The room is not very big, but has everything you need. The room is clean, bathroom quite big, and the fridge and microwave were a good bonus. The thing I was most happy about was the air conditoning. It is really hot that time of year and not all hotels have it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and fairly large, with a pool bar open for a couple of hours a day. The hotel is in a good location, about 10min drive to the beaches in Cannes.

Le Cannet is a picturesque and much-visited suburb on the northern outskirts of Cannes on the French Riviera. With a history as deeply rooted as its famous orange trees, this hillside community offers panoramic views of the Lerins Islands and the Esterel Mountains. The old district hosts the 15th-century chapel of St. Sauveur with lavish decorations by the modern artist Tobiasse.
