Sitting directly on the shores of Lake Hartwell, Greens Cay is a completely remodeled and updated 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom ranch home with finished basement. Inside on the main floor, there are two living areas each with smart TV and a sleeper sofa. A full kitchen, washer and dryer, ½ bath, and even a warm-water dog rinse and fireplace round out the inside amenities. Also on the main floor are two bedrooms, each with queen beds, smart TVs, and a full bathroom between them. Outside the main level is an oversized, half-covered deck that features a table and chairs for dining al fresco, a large propane grill, a super comfortable sectional couch with ottoman, and the most stunning lake view on Hartwell. Our lower level can only be accessed from the outside and features two sleeping areas: one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds plus a newly remodeled, full sized bathroom. Note that you must cross through the queen bed area to access the bathroom. The deck has steps to the ground and the lower level opens to a patio and then to the backyard which slopes gently to the water. A paved, lighted walkway with railing takes you to a beach area (great for beach fires at night), single-slip dock (guest boats or rental boats welcome), a swing, and lounge chairs. We’re in a great deep-water location so the fishing is excellent, and you’ll have fun on the water with our paddleboard or kayaks. Located about 90 minutes north of Atlanta, 60 minutes from the University of Georgia, and 45 minutes from Clemson University, Greens Cay on Lake Hartwell is the ideal location to host your next getaway. Primary renter must be at least 25 years old, sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking, be present for the duration of the stay, and agree to a $500 damage deposit hold (not a charge) that will be placed on the guest's credit card prior to arrival and released after his/her uneventful stay. No events at all, and no smoking inside the home. Dogs are allowed to a maximum of 3 with a fee. Quiet hours are strictly enforced: 11pm-8am. We supply STARTER items of paper products and soaps. Owners communicated very well. Close to I85 but not too close. We stayed here for a long weekend and a UGA football game. Access to Athens was extremely easy coming from the North. We had campfires on the beach reminiscent of our annual camping trip (but with the convenience of close bathrooms, showers and a kitchen! ) The dock was nice, outfitted with lounge chairs and a porch swing to ease us into the day! We loved that the deck had gates at the entrances to keep the dogs in when we were at the house. We even played corn hole (supplied by the owners)!!! It was very clean and accommodating. The beach was our favorite part of the day and we would highly recommend this to anyone who has children. The house is exactly as described with breathtaking lake views and everything you need to relax at a lake vacation. We had access to a kayak and a paddle board provided by the home owner. Plenty of room for the dogs to run. Fishing poles and lure were also available. We caught a big one that got away! The swing and chairs on the floating dock and the spacious porch were our favorite spots. Well stocked with cook ware and items needed to serve breakfast. Remote location but close enough to drive into Greenville and Clemson. ##### Mac M. Property was comfortable and we were surprised that the beds were too!! Plenty of space to enjoy the lake life. 3 teenage boys had there own area which was great for us!!!
