The view over the bay was the best part of it, with just a band of lush vegetation between the apartments and the sea it was the perfect way to experience this part of Crete. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable. No negatives for me.

Fantastic location and view
Highly recommend this small hotel. We stayed out of season, so it was completely quiet, which we appreciated. Stunning views from the spacious room and balcony. Little kitchen was well-equipped, and unit was very clean. Perfect location for exploring the area. Yvonne was very helpful and friendly. Loved our stay.

Apartments exceeded expectations. Views from outside the rooms are outstanding: swimming pool (decent size), Mirabello Bay itself with an island & mountains in the background. Short walk to beach , local tavernas & bus stop. Pleasant walk into town (20 mins) & taxis always available . Staff very friendly, would recommend to anyone looking a family run , value for money place to stay.

Beautiful seaside place near Agios Nikolaos
A seaside hotel with very warm staff and a welcoming atmosphere. A nice combination of Cretan and Scottish hospitality.

Nice quite hotel over looking the sea
I had a pleasant stay at the maribella, pool could have been a bit warmer and cleaned a bit more then once a week. Food was nice and staff were friendly overall a nice place.

Thank you for taking time to write a review. Unfortunately our pool is not heated so water temperature depends on outside temperature and the time of day you choose to swim. The pool is checked and cleaned every second day or more if need be. We are glad that you enjoyed your overall stay and hope that maybe you will visit again!

Small and exclusive
"Hotel" was in fact self catering accommodation, but very small and exclusive, everything catered for, breakfast, lunch, evening meals and everything in between. We were there for a friend's birthday party, and nothing was too small for the very well meaning staff, all were very accommodating.

Mirabella Apartments is an ideal stay for people who appreciate beautiful landscapes, clean beaches, and quiet home-like mini hotel atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. This nine days’ vacation we spent with my daughter was unforgettable experience! Many thanks to all the staff members, especially to the reservation and accommodation manager Yvonne, and to the beautiful cook and assistant Marena. They are great professionals and wonderful people. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends, and, of cause, I am dreaming to come back again.

My shower head was broken and the curtains were only just hanging on but the place was clean and the staff where helpful and friendly. Just a bit too far to walk into town.

Thank you for your feedback . The shower heads are new but cannot be fixed to the wall. Four curtain hooks were broken due to wear and tear. We are 3 Km from Agios Nikolaos which is about a forty minute walk. There is a bus stop just outside of the accommodation where there is a regular service to the town. Our staff always try and make our clients stay an enjoyable one.

Stunning View, Close to Beach, Great Staff
The Mirabella Apartments have got it perfect. From the moment you book the holiday until you reluctantly have to leave, everything is just about perfect. Elizabeth from the apartments originally gave me a text for my email. She then gave me a very good email thanking me for the reservation and letting me know what to expect. Nearer my travel dates she then emailed full instructions of how to get there and what to do when I arrive. When we arrived, the room was ready and the view was breathtakingly gorgeous, the best room view I've ever had. The room had air-con, basic kitchen, bathroom with a shower (Hot Water was always available), double bed, wardrobe and a great little balcony to sit out on watching over the pool, the ocean and mountains/islands in the background. The room was cleaned regularly and the cleaning, bar and any other staff were all more than accommodating and friendly. Free Wi-Fi was available all over the apartments, it worked very well. We only ate there a few times towards the end of the holiday as we ate in town most evenings but should have dined there a little more often as the food was great from a presentation and taste perspective, and the price was the best value you could get anywhere. We had a car for our whole 2 weeks holiday and I'd recommend this as it makes it very easy to get around. But if not, town

For guests who wish to snorkel then Havania Beach is ideal and for guests who wish a sandy beach, there are many within a short distance. Guests with transport will be able to venture further afield and enjoy some beautiful beaches along the coast to Istron, Vai in the east and Mirtos which is in the south of the island. Beaches where sun beds and umbrellas are provided make a daily charge and Ammoudi beach (less than a 5 minute drive from us) also offer safety boxes with their sunbeds. The owners and staff members at the Mirabella Apartments are pleased to help guests, wherever possible, and we can arrange day trips, transportation, restaurant recommendations etc. If we have an email address for a guest it is our practice to send a "thank you for your reservation" email and advising if we have debited any money from the credit card used to guarantee the reservation (Non Refundable Reservations only). Nearer to an arrival date we will send details of the room allocated and directions to the Apartments. If we only have a telephone number then a text / sms message will be sent asking the guest to contact us if they need assistance. Most comfortable bed yet !
Beautifully maintained property, very clean and comfortable. And excellent value for money. The view from the balcony in the early morning is amazing. In a garden setting with olive trees and flowering shrubs, lavender, honeysuckle etc. Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful 7 day break ! The rooms are spotlessly clean, site very well maintained. Facilities better than we expected- breakfast, lunch, dinner served each day - all good. Bar with coffee, wine etc tea. Shop selling essentials. Amazing manager and staff who bend over backwards to help with whatever you need. Slight disappointment in beach, photos show umberlla etc but no sign, however it was low season. Lovely beaches within 10 minutes however. Pool very clean and covered at night. We will return

Loved this place!
We had a short stay after a cruise, before flying home. Wish we could have stayed longer! Very laid back, relaxing, family feel. Received a very helpful email from Elizabeth, the manager, prior to our trip. Lovely pool and pool side bar/restaurant - great food. A 2 minute stroll down to the beach. A short bus ride into Agios Nickolaos and Elounda, an hour and a half bus ride along the coast from Heraklion, very straightforward. Will definitely stay again when we return to Crete.

Why didn't we go here in the first place?
We stayed at Mirabella and Agios Nikolaos only for one night, and that was a mistake. The whole town and the hotel were great, and next time we go to Crete, we will certainly return here. We visited all four "big" towns (Iraklion, Chania, Rethymno, Agios Nikolaos) during our two weeks and for me Agios Nikolaos was by far the nicest of them. If your looking for history and architecture, then maybe not, but for relaxation, romance and good food, it was perfect. The hotel might be the best value for money that I have ever had. We received a personal e-mail from the hotel a couple of days before our stay, welcoming us and making sure we found our way there and could get inside our room if we were to arrive late in the evening. Considering the size of the hotel (very small and cozy), the services were excellent and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. And the pool was nice. No wonder Mirabella are rated number one in Agios Nikolaos...

... already for next year! But really, don't go there. we want it all to ourselves! This has to be one of the very best places to stay in Greece if you want friendly people; great value for money; peace and quiet; a view to die for; a brilliant location (if you don't mind a bit of walking or a short bus ride) and plenty of wonderful sunshine. Don't go if you want water parks, loud music, or evening entertainment. Go to the cheesy hotel up the road for that!

It would be hard to find a more magnificent view of Mirabella Bay. We had a room with large sliding doors on the top story, though not all rooms have this feature. Bed was large and comfortable, and lots of hot water in a well sized bathroom. What drew us to choose this hotel is that so many remarked on how quiet it was. However, that all depends on who you have as neighbors since most are drawn to their balconies. But this is true everywhere, and some people seem a bit oblivious to how much noise they are generating. Although a 25 min. walk, definitely eat at Piatos.

We loved our two week stay at Mirabella. The views of the bay are stunning and the staff were always helpful and on-hand. The pool is lovely and warm especially at the end of the day and there is easy access to Havinia beach. For and drink from the bar was great. We ate here on many occasions at various times if the day. Would recommend to anyone.

A great base for explring the area.
This is a clean, tidy and very friendly place for a few nights to use as a base for exploring the Agios Nikolaos area of Crete. I would not recommend it for an all inclusive, complete holiday experience.

Great Hotel just outside Agios Nikolaos
We stayed only 2 days at the hotel but we had a fantastic time. The hotel itself is not really big but it has amazing views just outside your window. The rooms are big with clean showers and nicely doen rooms. There is a nice pool were you can relax or you can go to the near by beach. You can walk to town (definately about 30 min) or drive but there are really nice taverna's around as well.

As long as you do not expect a 4 star propertty and facilities these appartments are fine. Spacious and with the most fantastic 180 degree views over the Gulf of Mirabello. Out of season (in April) very quiet and pool not in use. No reception , bar or mimisupermarket so a long walk to the nearest supermarket and rarely any management around. Bus stop at mani entrance gate. I still like d the location adn th epeace and quiet it gave us. but definitely not 4 star.

We booked this reservation on line having no idea really where we were going or what our options were and we were so excited by what we found upon arrival- our own little apartment with tiny kitchen, lovely bath, balcony overlooking the ocean and the swimming pool below. It was completely remodeled and well enough appointed, though not super luxurious. We woke up to the most beautiful sunrises over the Cretan mountains of the shores opposite us, and were just a block from a public and beautiful little beach meant for swimming. A short drive brought us into the center of Agios Nikolaos, and we were happy with our rental car to be just outside the town (much more convenient really). I would highly recommend these apartments, also because the owner was incredibly attentive with any and all of our needs and I'd especially recommend visiting Crete off season. It was magical.

Vue magnifique et esprit vacances familiales
Résidence très agréable, familiale(ping pong, billard, trampoline, piscine) . Accueil charmant d'Yvonne la gérante. Les studios sont pratiques avec terrasse (petites haies fleuries) ou balcon avec vues sur la piscine et sur la mer. C'est le point fort d ela résidence. Certains logement semblent avoir été refaits d'après les photos (mais pas le nôtre-maniaques passez vôtre chemin). Il suffirait déjà de changer juste qq éléments ( poubelle, couverts et accessoires salle de bain) et déjà cela donnerait un petit coup de neuf. Par contre literie impeccable et douche spacieuse (même si salle de bains est datée). Le bar pratique des prix élevés, comparé à d'autres résidences de ce type et accueil distant. On n'a pas testé vu les commentaires précédents car rien n'a l'air d'être préparé sur place. Par contre ambiance sympa: cadre, musique... La plage est à deux pas avec des eaux très claires. On est à 10mn à peine d'Agios Nikolaos en voiture. Visite d'Elounda et Plaka très proches pour excursion à Spinalonga. De l'autre côté d'Agios, superbe plage de Voulisma(15mn en voiture). Un arrêt de bus est juste en face. Attention aux enfants en bas âge car piscine non protégée et pour rejoindre le parking de l'autre côté de la route pas de visibilité donc très dangereux. (un avis précédent suggérait un miroir pour voir les voitures arriver... Excellente idée !) En revanche, aucun bruit de circulation car ouverture des appartements de l'autre côté. En conclusion très bon séjour.

Stayed at Mirabellas from the 20-31 of May.
For me Mirabellas apartment was a little Pearl. The nice, little path through the garden, the beautiful seaview, the staff, the WiFi worked perfectly, choice of breakfast to choose from. Try the healthy one or the greeck. Try some different like the normal as english breakfast. Thanks to Yvonne, Nelly, Smagradi and Gulla for your always smiling faces. Didn't had the name of the cleaning People. But well done. 👍Mirabellas lays about 25 minutes away on legs from Agios Nikolaos and 20 minutes away from a very good restaurant Kri Kri. When you come to Agios Nikolaos it's a good experience to take the little train away from the big village and see some small, autentic ones like Kritsa. Or take the bus to Plaka near Elounda about 11 km from Havania area. Sweet little village like Elounda is always a visit worth to. Thank you Mirabella <3

From November to May our snack bar, swimming pool and Reception are not in use. It is therefore vital that we have contact with the guests either by e-mail or telephone to arrange arrival details, especially when this is a last minute reservation. Our car park is situated across the road from the apartments. We thank you for taking time to review us.

המיקום של מירבלה אידיאלי: על שפת הים (אך ללא גישה), קרוב לחוף ציבורי, מול נוף מדהים אך במרחק נסיעה מכל סופרמרקט. החדר גדול, מרווח ויש בו כל מה שדרוש כדי ליהנות מהשקט ומהחופשה. בעלת בית הדירות - איבון, סקוטית, שדאגה לתת לנו הנחיות מדוייקות לאן כדאי לטייל וכן קבלה את פנינו בנעימות. גם רמת התחזוקה במקום טובה מאד.

Thank you for taking time to write a review for us. It Is very important for us to have feedback from our guests. Yvonne in Reception always tries to help with any information you may require. There is a small pathway leading down to a part of Havania beach. If in doubt please ask a member of staff. Mirabella offers an optimal position for touring the east side of the island.

Siamo stati in questo hotel alla fine della bellissima vacanza a Creta. Abbiamo sfruttato la piccola ma funzionale cucina per cucinarci qualcosa ed è stato molto comodo.

Mooi app complex op rustige plek
Het complex ligt buiten de stad Agios Nikolaos. Lopend is het ongeveer 45 min naar het centrum toe. Er rijd wel een bus met een halte vlak naast de uitgang. thv deze halte is de toegang naar een strandje met parasols en bedjes. Aan de overkant is een taverna, dit is wel de enige vlak in de buurt. Ondanks dat het complex aan een drukke weg is gelegen, heb je daar totaal geen last van. De stad zelf is heel levendig en toeristisch. Het complex zelf heeft mooie kamers, met een fantastisch uitzicht op de zee en de bergen aan de overzijde van de baai.
