We stay at this hotel year after year.

Posted 27-Jul-2017
Pros: Its location and its pool BUT it should be updated o a heated pool, so we can come later in the year.
Cons: ISee above
Location: See above
In the end the staff moved us but having been here so many times, we should have been given a better room in the first place

Don't Stay Here

Posted 25-Jul-2017
Cons: Check-in and check-out process.
After waiting for an hour in line in a hot, sweaty lobby to check in (they do have kiosks available which didn't work for about 50% of people it appeared - they only had one person working the check-in desk on what she told me was their busiest day), I was asked to pay an "upgrade fee" for my room on top of the unexpected "resort fee." Once I got up to my room, it was not at all what I had requested. It appeared that someone had died on my bathroom floor 20 years ago and there was a permanent stain. There was a creepy access panel in my old, outdated shower. While I had a nice view, I had requested a room near the rest of my party. They put me in a room all the way across the casino up an entirely different elevator. I just dealt with it because every time I walked by the lobby, there was a long, hot, sweaty line to wait in if I wanted to talk to the unaccommodating and somewhat snappy staff. Then again, upon check-out, the online checkout, tv checkout, and kiosk checkout all told me they were unavailable and I had to again wait in a long, hot, sweaty line to get out of there. Super disappointing. Don't stay here!!

Very old hotel

Posted 25-Jul-2017
This hotel was cheap and now I know why. The floor was filthy and the room looked bare. The bathroom cabinets were peeling and the shower head was a sink faucet head which was pulling away from the walk.

Convenient Location

Posted 25-Jul-2017
This was our 2nd stay at the Flamingo in 4 months. We choose it mainly for its central location on the strip and it's decent price in comparison to others. You do get what you pay for... the rooms are just okay, but if you are not terribly picky, you will be fine. Our sink was draining very slow and our 2nd room shower was leaking all over the floor. AC kept the rooms comfortable and the room is overall pretty clean, just old. It was 105+ degrees during the day so the pools were very crowded. The pool area is very nice overall, but the water seemed a little salty, assumingly from the number of people. Bottles of water cost upwards of $4 to $6 in the hotel, so bring your own or walk to a store to buy a case. We would stay here again.

Worst Nightmare ever

Posted 24-Jul-2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Customer service, and stop ripping people of by giving them a crappy room and expecting them to pay more for a nicer one after we already booked
Location: location was good as it was on the strip lots of restaurants and shows
My daughter and I called ahead of time to request a non smoking room on a lower floor in the renovated section of the hotel. We were told they would put it on our file and to check when we signed in upon arrival. The line up was very long when we got to the fellow that assigned rooms we asked about our request. We were told that they had no renovated rooms on the lower floors and to go to a higher floor there would be an additional cost. The room we took was on the 6th floor, bed was lumpy furniture looked beat up and all you could smell was weed coming through the air vent in the ceiling. We could not speak to anyone as line up was awful every day. When we left we complained to the check out clerk who said we should have complained sooner. The pool area was packed every day and you couldn't get a seat. I would never go back to this hotel and would not recommend it to any one.

Hotel is too expensive and not worth the cost. The rooms are old and bathrooms need to be remodeled.

It was an okay hotel. It served its purpose and was clean. We do wish that we would have been given the option to stay in a new remodeled room. We were on the 8th floor. Clean but very old. Very small bathroom and the paint was peeling off of the bathroom counters. Everyone that we came in to contact with that worked there were very pleasant. It is very much more of a "party" hotel. Much younger guests.

Bad experience

Posted 24-Jul-2017
Pros: Garden area
Cons: Do upgrades to your hotel for the prices you charge would be nice
Location: Ceasars
For what we paid with your resort fee's should have been a 5 star hotel - room we stood with the old part & very dirty looking - parking for room guest was outrageous - was promised by clerk we would not be charged & we were. No coffee pot in room house cleaning really didn't clean - mirrors dirty- Pool area was very dirty looking
