I will preface this review, that I booked Palms based on reviews I read online that it had been renovated. When I checked-in, there was only one person working, and it took approximately 20 minutes with 4 people ahead of me.
When I arrived at my room, the bathroom had not been cleaned, and there were stains all over the toilet. The faucet barely worked, and had corrosion all over it. Most of the soap was also missing as well. They were accommodating and able to get me into a new room.
The new room was generally fine, but I would not call this property “fully renovated”.
Additionally, I had a package delivered to the hotel, and was mis-quoted for how much the handling fee would be. The package was lost, and by the time I received it, it was not consequential to my stay. I was still charged the handling fee, double what I was quoted, and when I emailed customer service, they ignored my request for an adjustment.
I should have stayed at Virgin like I did last year.
