Great Facilities but Don't Like Smoking!

Posted 28-Jun-2017
Pros: I liked the many restaurants. The revolving restaurant is awesome! Easy access to bus service.
Cons: Don't allow smoking, and ensure housekeeping cleans rooms.
Location: Great access to bus service; the Strip and Fairmont Street.
The smoking is a big negative!!! Our room was not cleaned while we were there - towels brought only when we requested them.

Great affordable hotel

We enjoyed this hotel very much! The rides, bungee jump, food at Roxxi's, MJ Live, the pool. Comfortable room with the upgrade. Affordable price. Everything was great!

Nice a little far from the strip.

The room was good but the bathroom could use some help. The tub was too tall I am a short person and had trouble getting in and put of the tub and the water pressure for the shower was terrible other than that it was okay.

Best pool in Las Vegas

Posted 28-Jun-2017
Pros: The pool.
Cons: We chose to take a room that was immediately available vs. waiting for the room we reserved, and ended up with views of the parking structure.
Location: No need to leave the building; gaming, pool, restaurants...all in one stop.
Stratosphere is a little dated, but still worth a stay. There is a LOT of activity to watch downstairs and the rooms are clean and do the job. The parking is free, but a little sketchy...I would suggest removing anything you want to keep. Without question, one of the best pools with DEFINITELY the best views in Las Vegas. With clear shots of the mountains and the jumpers off the tower happening all day, this pool is great for the kids and the adults.

We had a nice experience at the hotel. Wish it was little modern but it was still a nice experience.

Just ok...

Posted 27-Jun-2017
Stayed one night. Room was ok and clean. They needed more front desk help. We arrived at 7 pm and the line for check in was 45 min. Not fun after a 7 hour drive. Overall, just ok. Nothing spectacular.

Nice hotel but far from the Strip!

Posted 26-Jun-2017
Pros: Liked my room. We were upgraded to the Romance Suite as we were getting married and brought about 25 out of town guests with us.
Cons: There should be a refrigerator in every room. Why does this cost $10/day? Also, the resort fee should just be included in the price of the room.
Location: Rides on the top of the building, plenty of souvenir stores, liquor stores, wedding chapels. Go to Vickie's Diner for good food at regular prices.
Nice hotel with lots of things to do inside. 2 pools, restaurants, bars, shopping, rides. However, it's a good distance away from Fremont St and the Strip, where all of the action is. Used Uber to go back and forth. Staff was friendly, room was clean. There was a strong odor of marijuana throughout the hotel on different floors. Very hot (but not humid) the week we were there. Pool on the 8th floor was nice with some covered areas over the pool and lots of places to sit. Pool on the 25th floor is a more adult setting with no shade and smaller pool. McCall's Grill was great. The Italian Restaurant - eh. Wish we had gone back to McCall's. Roxy's Diner was also good. Don't buy your soda, water, snacks, souvenirs in the shops on the 1st floor in the hotel. Much cheaper outside. However, the small souvenir store on the 2nd floor does have great prices on their items.
