Disappointing

Posted 25-Jul-2016
Pros: I enjoyed eating at the Roxy's diner and some of the other more affordable dining options. The observation tower was a nice, unique feature.
Cons: The rooms should be checked and maintained before allowing guests to stay in them.
This hotel/casino was not as nice as some of the others we have seen, though the price was comparable. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the lights flickered and eventually went out over the sink and in the bathroom. They were easily restarted after I called the front desk. The AC was not cool enough at all, so the room stayed relatively warm and at times, uncomfortable. The buttons on the TV and the remote did not work more than half of the time. I enjoyed eating at the Roxy's diner and some of the other more affordable dining options.

Good value for money

Posted 24-Jul-2016
Cons: -The room should have a fridge and a coffee machine -Reception should have more front desk staff to reduce lines
The hotel is fine, the location is OK but not great. self parking garage is available with plenty of space. did not try the pool, but there are plenty of shops and fast food restaurants in the hotel

Great Value on The Strip

Posted 24-Jul-2016
My husband and I have stayed at the Stratosphere before and we really enjoy the newly renovated rooms. The rooms are clean, there are a lot of dining options in the hotel, and the hotel is right on the strip. The only complaint that we have is that there are no refrigerators in the rooms. Vegas is extremely hot and it would be nice to be able to keep cold water or drinks in the room. Also, during this stay, we had a room where the air conditioner was acting a little funny, but it still kept the room very cool. The hotel is not expensive (depending on when you go), and the tower is really fun. You can check out the views of Las Vegas or ride the thrill rides. Overall, it's a nice, clean hotel, and a great value on the strip.

Quiet resort away from busy strip

Posted 23-Jul-2016
I got the strip view room, which was nice and we were right by the tower, so we could see people doing the Sky Jump. Also, it was nice to see the Sky Jump right from our tv, there was camera attached to the wire. So that was pretty interesting.

Newly Renovated Tower

Posted 23-Jul-2016
Pros: Clean, updated, great drinks poolside
Cons: Later pool hours
Location: Iconic Bonanza General store is about 3 blocks down...
Great stay, especially for parents with kids. You are at the very end of the strip so walking is far from a lot of sights- but for lounging at the pool, it was great.

Depends what your looking for in a vegas vacation

Posted 23-Jul-2016
Although still on the strip it is located at the end in a rough part of town. All the action is further than walking distance. Closer to the outlet mall which is a +. The hotel does not offer a wide variety of shopping, restaurants, etc for families. El Nopal was the best food there! Only one pool for families. Just walking around the room my feet turned black, and clogged shower and sink drains, as well as crappy shower head. You definitely get what you pay for here.
