Nice Hotel

Posted 26-Mar-2017
We stayed here for 5 days for our Honeymoon and had a very nice time. The room didn't have the amenities one would expect (coffee maker, microwave) but after finding out none of the hotels offered them I realized it was a safety issue. All in all we had a nice time.

Stratosphere Hotel Las Vegas

Posted 26-Mar-2017
Location: Its at the quiet end of the strip but still lots of restaurants/bars/gift shops on its doorstep to keep you busy. Freemont is a short bus ride away.
We booked a strip view room but when we checked-in there wasn't any available, so they gave us a 'Select' Room instead on the 17th floor with a view of the mountains. However the bathroom sink was extreamly slow to drain and there was a broken wall light. We reported the sink and and the light to reception and by the time we had got back from a busy day on the strip the sink had been fixed, but the light hadn't so some what successful. Apart from that the room was nice. The pool on the 8th floor is great and lots of sunbeds available. There is an additional roof top pool as well but more for pool parties (w/ends) and you need to be 21 to use this pool. Although the hotel is at the north end of the strip, there is a bus stop directly outside so making it easy to get down to the south end of the strip and it stops at all the major hotels and runs every 15 mins so very convenient ($8 for a 24hr ticket) and the bus service runs through the night so no taxis were needed. All in all this hotel is a great place to stay and some excellent rates are available and we would stay again, there are also several eateries/restaurants in the hotel and lets not forget the views from the Stratosphere Tower are fab which as a guest of the hotel only costs $5 for a day ticket (a much reduced price).

Very Nice hotel, bit far from heart of strip

Posted 26-Mar-2017
Pros: Large lounge, buffet, shopping options, close to fast food restaurants
Location: Its quite a walk from the heart of the Strip ( Caesar's palace, MGM, Bellagio, Venetian etc ). But its very quiet which is a good thing.
Stayed there 4 nights. Booked it for the lower price. Pleasantly surprised by all it has to offer. We did upgrade to a renovated room which was spacious and clean - on the 23rd floor. Very quiet.

Off the main strip

Posted 25-Mar-2017
Stratosphere was a good hotel, just a bit of a walk from the main vegas strip area. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very quiet and clean. If you don't mind walking a bit it's a great hotel to stay at.
