Nice hotel

Posted 17-Jan-2017
One horrible thing though was the it was our honeymoon and we were placed on the top floor, which was cool, but everything morning at around 7am there was like construction happening. Loud banging and drilling. Very annoying.

Not worth the price

Posted 17-Jan-2017
Nothing in the room. No safe, coffee maker, fridge, far from rest of strip. Should've stayed somewhere off of strip. No hot water at 3:30 am.

Decent price, nice room, smoky and loud

Posted 16-Jan-2017
The rooms were nice and the price was good but the smoke from other rooms came into ours through the ventilation which made me feel unwell. Our room was a non smoking room. Also, there was a fair amount of noise from construction/repair just before 9am.

Bad Experience

Posted 15-Jan-2017
We didn't have a good experience. We booked a room with 1 king bed and we ended up with a room with 2 double bed. We wanted to change and we were told by 2 different people we could not do it and there would be no compensation. We would not recommend this hotel. Also, there is a 30$ fee by night for the wifi which is super slow and you have to enter the password every day... Not really nice

Stratosphere is Decent

Posted 15-Jan-2017
Pros: Lots of options for food and entertainment. Going up the tower and viewing the Vegas landscape is very cool.
Cons: The Premium rooms aren't that premium. Ours came with a safe and a tub with jets. The tub with jets was dirty and we cleaned it ourselves with Comet.
Location: Visit Fremont Street - great outdoor party atmosphere! Buy a 24 hour bus pass- well worth it visiting the strip and you'll save on cab fare.
The Stratosphere is a pretty decent hotel/casino. I have been to other hotel/casinos on the strip and this would rate average. The buffet was good, the tower experience is excellent and the entertainment choice is good as well. We took in a comedy show and it was well with it. The deluxe and standard rooms are average. Our friend booked a suite which was very nice. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall, good experience but just average.

Price accessible

Posted 15-Jan-2017
In general is an Okay hotel to be at the strip and not needing to pay strip prices! The sky lounge is neat and the ammenities up there are ultra cool, but check when they are available. Overall, if you are wanting to be at vegas and don't want to pay too much for hotel, but with some ammenities around, this js the hotel.

Train your staff at the reception

Posted 15-Jan-2017
I had horrible checkin experience; although i reserved my room a week earlier. The staff (young lady) told me that "non-smoking double bed room" was overbooked! How do you sell your rooms twice? I just wonder why the government does not control these hotels and ask them to obey regulations!!! She changed her mind after I insisted to talking her supervisor rather than paying an upgrade to other empty rooms! Other than this, rooms are clean. However the ac in the room was not controllable and annoyed me in the midnight while trying to sleep!!!
