Great location in middle of strip, average stay

Posted 30-Aug-2016
Pros: Location in the middle of the strip and convenient to the Monorail
Location: You are located near the Linq which offers street entertainment and great restaurants such as Yardhouse and Brooklyn Bowl.
This hotel has a great location in the middle of the strip with lots of nearby entertainment. Check in at this hotel is slow with long lines. I would ask not to be in a room above the strip due to the loud music from the street. Also I would advise not to get a newly renovated room. It is not worth the money. The bathroom has very dim lighting with a shower only. There are limited outlets, thin walls, and the renovated rooms are very small. Save your money. As far as restaurants---Toby Keith's Bar & Grill serves great food but expect a long wait to get your food. Icepan Icecream is a great place for dessert. The piano bar at Harrah's is great for entertainment as well as the musical Menopause.

On the strip

We stayed in the Mardi Gra tower 2 nights and we loved our stay. Bed was awesome the room was clean. There was a $38 resort fee per night on top of what we paid on Expedia. That wasn't really a surprise but it's nice to know. Also free parking was a bonus!

GREAT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE

Posted 29-Aug-2016
Pros: EASY TO GET AROUND , CENTER STAGE IN THE STRIP, BUS STOP AND RAIL TRAM STOP.
Cons: THE CHECK IN LINE WAS LONG EXTRA LONG TOOK TOO LONG NEED TO STAFF MORE PERSONAL ( ONLY 2 AT ONE POINT ONLY 1) FOOD PRETTY PRICEY IN THE HOTEL
Location: THE LOCATION IS GREAT CENTER OF THE STRIP SHOPS AND FOOD ALL AROUND
WE HAD A GREAT TIME STAFF WAS NICE THE CHECK IN NEEDS IMPROVEMENT -- THE REWARDS STAFF WAS REALLY HELPFUL.

Not Impressed

Posted 29-Aug-2016
Totally disappointed with the dated room received in the Carnaval wing. At the time of booking the room in the picture was totally different from the room I received with a view of a filthy staircase at the rear of the hotel. Hotel location is great however my room issue destroyed my family's Vegas experience.

Clean, comfortable room. Great Vegas Strip location with easy access to other attractions. Good dining selections, albeit somewhat pricey.
