Room from hell
Late flight, got to ck in at 2am, had resv for non smoking king upscale room, given key and directions to a run down tower floor 10, got off elevator, horrible smell carpet and walls very nasty. Found room scared to open it was so filty. Oh my god room was so gross it just made us sick, two double beds and one night stand with all the varnish gone,, carpet spills, sheet for top cover on beds had not been washed, You can imagine the bathroom, I could only look in from the door. Went back to clerk, told us computers were down and could not change our room keys?? Spoke to manger, his words were that the entire tower was going to be renovated soon and every room in that tower was the same run down, I asked him to go to the room with us, that if he could see how bad it was, he would not rent such a room, he said he already new! Was told to go gamble and computers would be back up in about 2hrs., hello, we needed sleep. Checked back at 5 am, told to wait til 7am. At 7 am told check out was 11am and would get room as soon as cleaned. Checked back at 10am was told they had us a room. Mgr. promised to give us a credit for the night plus the rest of our stay since we had pd in advance. So tired, two days ruined. So far no refund and would be surprised if we rec, anything. Had to pay all resort and parking fees before checking out. Mgr. was not to be found. Room we finally got was ok but still did not look like the room we purchased on line.
