The water in the shower was like warm at best. Otherwise it was comfortable and clean and worth the price

Perfect location. Lots of entertainment and food options. Hotel gives you a lot of coupons when you check in. Nice rooms. Will definitely stay there again.

a 3 day Vegas visit

Posted 07-Dec-2016
Pros: The location mostly Nice restaurants inside the resort
Cons: Cant gamble due to the smoke overload - does anyone ever toy with the idea of a smoke free gambling area?
Location: We LOVED the LINQ promenade Rode the High Roller and enjoyed the Bistro on the Promenade
It was good - very centrally located so we did lots of walking Too much smoke in the Casino - too bad as I had money I wanted to "lose" Couldnt stand more than 10 minutes

Good view , bad room

Posted 06-Dec-2016
Pros: location
Cons: renovate the hotel
Very old hotel room. Bathroom counter sink is blocked for the entire stay and the requested plumber never showed up. Air conditioner runs too much and makes the room too dry. It's good that the room has coffee maker and fridge though.

It was ok, but wouldn't stay again.

Extremely smoky even outside casino. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean, but the bathroom was like a motel 6; old, torn up and Horrible shower. It was ok if you're just looking for a place to sleep, but not vacation.

Middle of Las Vegas Strip

Posted 06-Dec-2016
Pros: Like that hotel was centrally located in the Las Vegas Strip. Could go to any other Casino in the area without problems.
Check in was kind of hectic, stay was OK. Of course, a resort fee was charged. Resort fee included Wi Fi. Put into room that did not have WI FI in room. Contacted help desk who advised to contact hotel staff. Hotel staff was so busy they could not get to our issue. We finally got one of the days of resort fees taken of the bill. Room walls were very thin, could hear people talking in the next room.

Wyndham folks

Posted 06-Dec-2016
The Wyndham people were way to pushy. One lady tried to talk to us 3 different times in a 20 min span. When she knew from the first time we were leaving town in 2 hours. Flamingo great. Wyndham people not so great.

Wont stay here again!!

Posted 06-Dec-2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer service and older hotel.
Location: Central to the strip. Lots of other things to do around the hotel.
Paid the early check in fee of $30 on Thursday. Friday morning there was no hot water to shower. I called the front desk and advised. Also told them the safe was locked, there was hair all over the bathroom and one of the bathroom light bulbs was broken and burnt out. They had to send two maintenance people - one for the safe one for the rest of the room. Maintenance guy came to the room and advised the boiler wasn't working properly and wouldn't be fixed anytime soon. We left the room about an hour later and was told water almost fixed. Saturday morning still no hot water. Called again and was offered to shower in the spa on the main floor and a $50 hotel credit. I declined to accept that offer. Was offered free resort credit for our stay. Went to front desk and asked for a different room. Was given grief for asking. Reminded them we didn't have hot water since we got to Vegas on our vacation. We showered in our friends room two floors up. We moved rooms only to discover we were right next to the elevators and heard them all night.

good location

Posted 06-Dec-2016
Pros: The location and easy to get around
Cons: The bathroom. We stayed in room 9026
Location: Great location and a lot to do near by
First time staying at the Flamingo. My only complaint is that the bathroom needs a major over haul. The tap on the tub leaked the whole time and it smells moldy, musty. Wishing to have a soak in the tub but it wasn't too appealing. The rest of the hotel and room were fine. I would stay there again.

Flamingo is worse than a motel - so old

Posted 05-Dec-2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Update the rooms and hallways
I have never been so disgusted with a named property than I was with the Flamingo. My husband and I had booked one night. If we could have moved we would have, but with a 4 pm check in, dinner reservations and concert tickets, we had to stay. The room was shabby, old, had furniture with chips and scratches. The bathroom was mouldy and old, with a drain that didn't work. Even motels are better than this. A bar fridge was placed on the floor. It was really the worst experience with a hotel that we have ever had. The internet was also not working this morning - or the fact that our room was positioned at the very far end of the 27th floor we just couldn't pick up the signal. I was going to complain when we checked out, but the line was enormous.
