Overall good

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Pros: My room location. Low floor and close to the elevator. Nice pool. Pretty good food.
Cons: Had a problem with the safe.
Location: Great location. Mid-Strip
Long line for check in. But I'm on vacation so I don't mind too much about that. Like my room location. Good food, nice pool. I liked the fact that I could walk to a lot things. Easy check out.

Comfy beds, but kinda dirty room.

Posted 25-Sep-2016
The room was cute with the hardwood look, but the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Like q-tip on the floor and just overall dusty everywhere. But it was comfortable enough for a Vegas stay and we got a good rate.

Great hotel on the strip.

Great place to stay in the middle of everything. Great room with great views! Hotel needs to have more staff at the front desk during check in/out. Staff was very helpful, but we're extremely shorthanded. Carlos and Charlies is a definite must when you're there.

Stayed in FAB king room on 9th floor

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Room iteself is spacious but simple. No frills included; tv, alarm clock, bedside lamps for light. The bathrooms are old and disgusting. The wallpaper is stained, light fixtures are rusted and the tap water smelled like sewer.

Great place if you're not looking for luxury

Posted 25-Sep-2016
We chose Flamingo because it was a good price and centrally located. The bathroom needs some attention. Old faucets that drip, paint is chipped. We've been to Vegas many times stayed at the bigger places. The size of the Flamingo is convenient . The biggest issue was the admission price for the bigger pool. $11.90 per person. What ?!?! We're already paying a daily resort fee of $32 and now an additional fee? Fortunately there was a "free" pool too which we utilized. We've NEVER had to pay extra to use the pool at a hotel we were staying. Very disappointing!

Great value for the money

Posted 24-Sep-2016
Pros: It was very nice, with Margaritaville right in the hotel and I absolutely loved the garden with the real flamingos and other birds - very beautiful.
Cons: Renovate the rooms, add a fridge.
Location: It was in the perfect location, right in the middle of the strip and we could walk to all the other major hotels and stores.
Fabulous time and would go back. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great.

Location!

Location was great, center of the strip. Found the casino level smoker than moat other hotels on the strip and a little more rundown. Great room, no issues with the elevators or check in.

Always Fun at the Flamingo, but Starting to Age...

Posted 23-Sep-2016
Pros: The Pool and Sports Book
Cons: Hotel Rooms can be modernized
My experience at the Flamingo is always a fun one. I enjoyed the close walking proximity to The LINQ, Caesars Palace, and the row of shops and restaurants leading to the High Roller. The pool can be quite the scene. However, I noticed that the hotel, especially the rooms, is starting to age. It's still a great hotel and casino. Would be nice if they performed some upgrades...starting with modernizing the hotel rooms.
