On the strip

Posted 23-May-2017
Being on the strip is the only thing we enjoyed about our stay. Our room was very 'beat up. Elevators were out of order which caused back up to get back to our room on the 7th floor.

Pros: Location
Cons: Put fridge in the room for your guests!!
Location: Close to everything
Right in the strip, close to most great shows and the linq. Very loud environment due to the presence of casino. Massive hotel with elevators located at the end of the walk way, meaning long walks to the elevators depending on where your room is located.

Drilling at 7:30 am

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: The gaming area is great. We enjoyed the Center Cut Restaurant as well. Very good food.
Cons: They need to upgrade the rooms. very out of date. No charging ports anywhere on tables or lamps. Had to reach way behind a chair to get one.
Location: Location is still fabulous and I am comfortable and happy with the gaming area. The dealers were great.
We have always stayed at the Flamingo Hotel when we visit Las Vegas. However, this time I really noticed how out of date the outside looks. And the room is very outdated. Really needs refurbishing. We woke up to drilling and hammering at 7:30 am on Wednesday, 5/17. I immediately called the front desk and they said "oh yes, we are refurbishing our banquet facilities from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm each day." I said we were not notified of this and they said there was nothing they could do. I asked for a credit on our room and they credited the resort fee. Not terribly apologetic either.

My only concern was that there always a line when I went down to the pool. Disappointing

Older but nice hotel

Posted 22-May-2017
Cons: The staff needs a lot of work. They are there for a paycheck not customer service.
Had to call security twice in less than an hour do too unruley guest. Wifi did not work in room after having to pay extra because it was supposedly available. Have always stayed here over the years but this is the last time.

Centrally located on the strip!

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: The location and the majority of the staff.
Cons: Needs a complete renovation.
Location: It's near basically everything which is why we stayed there in the first place :0)
Staff was great. Food was great. Hotel itself...outdated. Room was small, cramped, old and dirty. Bathroom was just plain yucky. Casino was not impressive which was shocking.
